Re: Little things that irritate you
I did as I really want to know now
I love sitting cross legged, I tend to leave it too long though so when I get up I have no feeling in leg and always a chance I could fall over, that's for Eggy to know what he is missing out on.

Re: Little things that irritate you
Helped a mate who's not very tech savvy with some IT & Home Cinema issues he's been having, which included connecting bluetooth "smart" speakers to his TV. Everything worked very well, and the speakers were particularly interesting to configure - but there was a significant (c. 5 second) delay between the onscreen picture and the audio channel, which I couldn't address using the TV's built-in sync management tools.
I have been unable to stop thinking about it, waking several times during the night to ponder potential solutions, and I suspect it will continue to plague my thoughts until I find one. I've already got one - he can use Kodi's excellent built-in audio sync offset tool, but that won't work for "regular" TV and other streaming services.

There's a setting on there where you can manage the audio delay?

Men aren't supposed to be able to cross their legs so that one knee is over the other in the way that women do.westham, eggyandchips wrote:Men that cross there legs.

There's a physical reason for it.
Any man that can do it has unusually small balls.

No, but it's looking increasingly like that's the best answer. Well, that, or he switches to line out, which TBH is probably the more reliable method.S-H wrote:Does he have Sky?

Re: Little things that irritate you
Went out snapping at a nature reserve today, and whilst I was there I thought to myself 'I never see any actual wildlife at these places' aside from the usual cows and sheep in field (though not technically wild I suppose), and birds. Then amazingly as I was on the way back to the car, right on the path in front of me were a couple of hares ****ing with each other.
I've still got my camera hung from my next, still switched on, so up it comes to the eyeball, I press the button to focus and snap when 'CHANGE BATTERY PACK' comes up and camera won't do anything. Turn it off and on again, by which time the said hares have ****ed off....

Re: Little things that irritate you
Wife rings me at work in a panic. She's lost her purse, need to cancel all the cards.
So I go through the palaver and cancel them all.
When I get home I ask where she last had it and from what she said, it must be somewhere in the house.
It took me three minutes to find it.

Sounds like an old Hamlet Cigar advert DL.-DL- wrote:Went out snapping at a nature reserve today, and whilst I was there I thought to myself 'I never see any actual wildlife at these places' aside from the usual cows and sheep in field (though not technically wild I suppose), and birds. Re: Little things that irritate you
Why is there a delay when using bluetooth but not when wired?DasNutNock wrote:Helped a mate who's not very tech savvy with some IT & Home Cinema issues he's been having, which included connecting bluetooth "smart" speakers to his TV. Is it similar to the reason why there is a delay between dab & fm radio?

Adverts showing the BMW i8 Roadster.
Whilst it is a truly magnificent piece of automotive engineering, at from £124,735, how many of the viewing public are they actually appealing to, apart from the ludicrously rich..
It's not even like most of us could save up for it.
