My local, friendly Honda dealer has emailed me with an offer of a years extended manufacturers warranty on my car. My standard warranty runs out on 26th September when the car hits 3 years old.
Apparantly, they claim it's just like the 3 year warranty, no quibble. It also comes with a years Hondacare Assistance - full AA breakdown cover, which includes at home, etc, European cover, and accident recovery.
All for £250, over 10 interest free instalments.
Sounds too good to be true, and the old saying is, if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
I replied to it asking what's the catch, and they say there is none - it's a special offer, usual price £399.
Anyone got experience of manufacturers extended warranty? Are they worth it? Looked on The AA, and their top policy is a shade under 200 quid
