Wonder if Palace might make a bid for Antonio? He is a squad player for us when all are fit and if it meant we could get a top quality DM in his place I would let him go.

I bloody hope not. Right now he's our third (possibly second) choice striker.

Ibrahim Sangare is the one I want (ooh ooh oooooh).

A feisty tackler, looks to spring the counter attack from deep with his passing, dribbles occasionally, will sometimes blooter one from range - essentially a younger Obiang (he's 21) with a bit more bite around his play.

Have a feeling Everton will go for him if Gueye moves to PSG.

We've not been linked, as far as I can see, just think he'd be perfect. Diop and he will know each other from their Toulouse days, too.

Poor Hugill, it is quite something when a right winger and sometime fullback is ahead In the pecking order of an established striker. Can’t think of when that has happened before? Terrible signing.

FWIW I do think we will get another striker in before the window closes. However, I take your point.

No chance. He’s too young for us. Only old players don’t kick up a fuss if they are not playing you know! :P

In all seriousness yes this is the exact sort of player a forward thinking club should be looking at.

That Thiago Mendes is another player I liked the look of as well.

Hopefully there’s more going on behind the scenes as there’s not long left to go until the window shuts.

Not to mention after Saturday’s friendly we only have 2 more to go. So any player we sign now won’t have a lot of game time to get use to playing with their new teammates, style of play and formations.

I named my dog Arnie after he who must not be named. We got him in December, January was not a good month for the dog.
