Everyone goes through that - the feeling of panic as you start to tip over, the attempt to move your leg sideways to catch yourself and the realisation that your foot is attached.... thud!
Anticipation is the key - get used to unclipping just before you need to stop, ie a second or two earlier than you would normally have put your foot down. Or get really good at race standing
On the bright side, if you do the topple-over 'right' your knee and (particularly) hip will take all the impact and prevent your bike being damaged

I unknowingly had one of the two screws fall out of one of my SPD cleats the other day, so as I twisted my foot to unclip at a junction, the cleat just twisted too and wouldn't unclip, so over I went. Thankfully nothing worse than a couple of small scrapes and oily fingers from having to put the chain back on.
Moral of the story - make sure you haven't got a screw loose.

Had the same mate. 2 weeks in Cancun then back to a dreary office in Chelmsford. Only for back Saturday so sleep pattern is still out of whack!

Classic dick move from your pal when she eventually finds out he’ll spin it in a way where you are culpable

Went for a game of snooker on Saturday, walked into the club and there was Sky f**king sports all over the screens showing soccer Saturday.
That, in my mind, is bad enough, but I just stood there shaking my head in disbelief, watching and listening to what can only be described as a complete f**king bellend; AKA Phil Thompson. Just listening to the idiot working himself towards a combined heart attack and stroke over the most mundane of football action.
I am so pleased that; a) I don't have Sky sports and b) the bit I do have with our Virgin package, I have no urge or intention of tuning in to.

A classic case of Mr Little head ruling Mr Big head.
I've already told him, if it comes out my Mrs will drop him in it, because the day in question we were in London for the day, so it would be impossible for him to be with me.

I recently had to be given strong antibiotics for 25 days - since coming out of hospital I've had this cold or allergy that's lasted weeks - i thought it could be the dust in our old house on Skye but upon arriving at our rented property at Elgin I've come down with yet another bout of sneezing and runny nose .

Turned on Radio 4 today and there was a woman basically echoing my views on modern music. I found myself agreeing with almost everything she said about modern music and how there's no originality and it's all about image.
Turns out it was Lily Allen
I feel violated.

Lily Allen, who found fame and made a fortune in modern music?
