One would have hoped that VAR would have made Mike Dean a little bit less of a ****. Sadly not.
f*** knows what we do in the summer. Wilshere and Anderson get injured and we run out of steam after an hour.

First half was good.
Second half was bad.
VAR is a joke.
Dean is a joke.
Still a few positives and reasons to be optimistic about the season.

Can't believe that was not a foul on Haller.
Just shows that refs can still influence games when they choose to

I don't think we have played that bad. NO way is this a 0-5 performance.
REf and VAR contrived to f*** it second half.

Haller was defiantly fouled for their 5th but there’s no excuse. That was woeful and they should all hang their heads in shame.

90+6' | 0-5 FINAL WHISTLE
95:04 and that's the final whistle. West Ham, who started brightly were simply shambolic in the second half. Being second best is nothing to be ashamed of, giving up on the other hand...

I was looking at Fab's feet when they showed the reply. Did any City players stay into the box to? That would surely even out, no?
Though I'm fairly sure There was a penalty in the WWC where a defender followed an attacker into the box and the saved penalty got taken.

And to rub salt in the wound, we have to endure that c**t Macmanaman bleating his diatribe.

Notice the lack of boos at the end of a 5-0 home defeat.

Scant consolation but at least it's out of the way, another opening day game against one of the teams at the top.
We'll be decent this season, I still think that.
But in terms of an overall spectacle for the masses, I think this season is going to be a procession and it's not going to be enjoyable.

Agreed, scoreline bad but we weren't as terrible as people are making out.

He can't be worse than Townsend.

TBH I wasn't impressed with VAR but let's not forget it gave us a marginal decision to keep it 2 nil it was our poor concentration that cost us here.

That’s because there was no one left in the stadium

That offside goal would’ve been given last season but that penalty wouldn’t have been retaken so it’s probably evened itself out.
so in other words without var things would have been the same.
