I want Lanzini to do well for us, but at the moment he isn't cutting it.
Opinions and all that - alongside Antonio, I thought Lanzini looked good before the formalities on Saturday.

Excited to see him strike up a link with Haller.

Can I just say that I haven't a clue how this match will go...................too many knocks about and everything is a bit wobbly!

Is this when we settle?
I think we need a few more games.

Just checked four forecasts and they’re all for light rain on Saturday with periods of sun and cloud too, with a bit of wind but not as much as we had the Saturday just passed. Hardly ‘thundery’.

IMO, the place is overpriced and overrated, and the Amex is a bit dull and rubbish. Even when it’s sunny, they make me wish there was a premiership team from Southend or Yarmouth to play....

Or Canvey Island. The seaside equivalent of Stratford City.

Didn't catch any highlights of BHA's game at the weekend - were they decent or were Watford just pony?

Lanzini has to be dropped for this. He gave the ball away for Cities 2nd after good work by Rice and then didn't even break into a jog trying to get the ball back. That can't go unchecked.

My father tells me of a match at in the late sixties/early seventies where someone decided to shield themselves from the rain with a brolly, obscuring the view of many behind it went something like.

"Put that umbrella down"
"f*** off its wet"
"Put it down"
"f*** off"
Knife comes out of the pack and starts slashing the umbrella which is hurriedly put down.

Ladies and gentlemen, the good old days.

Their first was a bit scrappy. og from Dacoure. Just after half time, Potter brought on two strikers at once and their second was rather similar to Jesus's and City's first last Saturday, good run and cross down their right, swift ball in and neatly tucked away at the near post by Andone. Their third was a route one clearance by Dunk, which found Maupay in acres of space and he rounded Foster and neatly tucked it way. Nice finish from a fairly tight angle

Bit of both. They had a gameplan and executed it well. Watford played like they did against us in May.

Puff has accurately summarised it; Maupay will have been delighted with his debut goal - quite a hit.

Except their third 100% was not from a route one clearance at all. :?

Yes I was gonna say that patito.
Puff, if thats your idea of a route one clearance then its no wonder you loved Allardyce.

Possession wise it was about the same which indicates a vastly different style of play for BHA this season.
Watford seemed unlucky in front of goal.

Same team against Brighton please.

On paper that's our strongest line up (as we know he won't drop Cresswell) and it deserves to be given a chance against beatable opposition.
