Its incessant.delbert wrote:People in work doing things for charity when in realty it's more for themselves. If they want to run a race in the Andes just piss off over there and run it, instead we get the sob story "well if I don't raise the £1600 entrance fee and expenses I won't be able to go and the baby puppies need help".
How about the chancing gits go for a run round Epping Forest instead and put the first £1600 raised towards their given charity instead of themselves?
I personally think its symptomatic of the middle classes in this country who have to show their autistism by throwing money at a problem but have selfish intentions.
Ask them to volunteer their time - no chance

People "entertaining" their children during the summer holidays. I'm not talking about really young kids but 7-12 year olds. I have friends that disappear for the whole summer and could not possibly do anything but family stuff. After the summer they claim they are exhausted. Kids are more than capable of entertaining themselves at that age if you let them and don't constantly over indulge them.

When I see people on the train with their feet and legs up on the seats it really does my head in.

Chuggers.
Every day.
The same one will try and collar me both on my way too and from getting lunch. Are we allowed to punch these parasites?

Its more like mid-October rather than mid-August.
Still 20+ though, each day for the rest of August. Depending where you are, of course..

VERY annoying. Guilt-tripping ba*tards, the lot of them.sendô wrote:Chuggers.

If people want to give, they'll give. We don't need these f*ckers pestering us, to do it.

One of the Mrs mates does the displays in Selfridges. They had the Christmas display planned by March. Think it was up at the start of July. Absolutely crazy.lewisham-mer wrote:It’s the middle of august

It's worth remembering that shops like Harrods & Selfridges start doing Christmas in July, in order to capture all of the 'foreign trade' who are here on holiday, only at this time of year.Happyhammer52 wrote:One of the Mrs mates does the displays in Selfridges. For the rest of us, it is highly annoying..
F*ck knows who Card Factory are trying to appeal to though! Just trying to get in early, I suppose.
