Do you have an emergency tax code as well then? My code is '0T M1'. I looked online and I think I need to chase up my old employer for my p45. I handed in my P60 when I started my new job on August 1st.

I am very aware of how important it is to have a clear mind, staying positive and all that jazz.

Nothing serious, but sometimes I suffer a bit of self doubt, worry a bit more than is necessary. I am conscious of it, so sometimes I turn to Youtube or similar for a bit of inspiration.

What really gets on my wick are those motivational videos, or those facebook memes where people feel the need to emphasise their determination by riddling the message with expletives. Really irritating and unnecessary.

'Clear the air' chats.

My flatmate has just come into to my room, drunk, to clear the air because he thinks I don't like him. Which I don't. So what?

Why not just accept that we don't get on and leave it at that?

People, man.

With a name like Chinners there really was only one option. You should have chinned him, just to let him know the exact depth of how much you hate him.

Why live in a flat with someone you don't like? How did you end up in that situation?

Fair point.

London house sharing is a complicated beast. The rent is cheaper than it should be on this place so I felt I had to compromise. I didn't dislike him to start with, but then I got to know him better.

I got one of those as well, at least I managed to change my flights to a few days earlier for no extra charge.
Looks like I'll be spending a little longer in Blighty this time.
