Good question. I get that it’s tricky but I thought we looked good ore season when we had Lanzini on the left, Anderson on the right and Fornals in behind. Allowed Lanzini to drift in and score a few too. So in answer, I’d have him in instead of Yarmo today, then again, Yarmo cost about £17m himself. I’m confusedEastleighHammer16 wrote: Who do you start him ahead of?

He will be.
Like you said, this is only the third game.

I thought Doucoure was injured! Bad news
Hopefully Noble will be at his best

Exactly that. He's been too lazy of late, he knows better too.HammerMan2004 wrote:

He has been great in patches but does quite often follow up a good passage of play with a wayward shot, pass or cross. If he kept the ball better then he would definitely start more games.Ben wrote:Not sure what Antonio needs to do to get a start.
He’s a perfect player to be against Watford too imo.
Oh well line up looks better than last week!

Doucoure and Capoue start. Was quietly confident before....not so much now.
Need a Noble stormer and get the ball in to Haller early and often.

Looking forward to seeing Lanzini operate in the hole just behind Haller. Excited to see how Haller links up with the rest of the front line.

Is it me or is Chicharito out with an “illness” quite often. Stinks of him throwing a strop after being dropped for Haller.

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
I'm always more nervous when I see so many changes. In this case, most can't be helped but looking at it more generally at the start of the season, there's been too much chopping and changing for my liking. I'm eager to see a settled side sooner rather than later.

Either that, or he is already earmarked to start against Newport and, with options that we have, we're managing his minutes more sensibly?Ludeksgloves wrote:Is it me or is Chicharito out with an “illness” quite often. Stinks of him throwing a strop after being dropped for Haller.
Could be either, in truth?

Big call to start Yarmo ahead of Antonio, given the latter's goal scoring record against Watford.
No Snodders or Wilshere in the 18 a bit of a shock.

Hernandez has a knock apparently. Tbf he isn't one to throw a strop if not picked so I assume it is true
No idea about Snoddy and Wilshire but I expect it is simply rotation

Re: ⚽ Watford v West Ham Utd: match thread
That's some assumption. If anything, it's more likely he's been taken out the side because a team in Europe is trying to buy him and it's unsettled him, but for now who knows. I wouldn't jump to the conclusion he's thrown a hissy fit just because our record signing is back from injury.Ludeksgloves wrote:Is it me or is Chicharito out with an “illness” quite often. Agree with that Crouchie,
It's good news for us that we have so many quality players that we can leave 3 or 4 at home.
