It is a good photograph , Eggy - just a bit of advice so that it's an even better photograph [ and I realise you'd have to watch the top of that tower ] - if you'd managed to get the whole of that crossing in so that we saw both sides of the streets - or if not possible I'd have not included the crossing at all . If that was taken with a phone I realise you wouldn't be thinking of composition as such so it's an excellent photo otherwise .

Tbf, it was on a phone and trying not to get hit by Lower Manhattan traffic.

You could always try cropping out the crossing - however , if it's just a straight photo from your phone to the screen and you have no interest in photo editing that's ok too . You've got a good eye .

HMS Medway is currently moored at Chatham Maritime ready for her commissioning on Saturday, and couldn't resist going down there when my replacement camera arrived this afternoon.

.
DL, with those saturated blues you've made Chatham look like the Côte d'Azur. Amazing shots indeed.
Hats off to everyone that has posted pics here, cheers the cockles of this ol' soul immeasurably.

Brilliant picture this Wembley. The juxtaposition of the humans trying to fly whilst the gulls 'sit' on the beach is incredible. All wrapped up in a sky I'm all too familiar with.

I've had people take my photos from other places and pass them off as their own. I'm also earning, not a lot, but getting something for the odd image here and there, so have to now watermark them.

Day 4 of the 5th Ashes Test at The Oval .... I find that pics of the slip cordon look amusing when they are taken out of context
