Just 6 years later, many of those young men would have been fighting in WW2. Wonder how many of them made it through. My dad was one of those that did. Otherwise I wouldn't have been here at all. Sobering thought.

Just 6 years later, many of those young men would have been fighting in WW2. Wonder how many of them made it through. My dad was one of those that did. Otherwise I wouldn't have been here at all. Sobering thought.

I feel blessed to have watched us standing from there. But don't forget one day we'll feel blessed for having the times we are having now....

I know because me and a mate spent about 3 weeks in there after getting detention for fighting ( each other ) :D

I doubt it because that is the flats Priory Road side .

Dam it I have the wrong end then, still at least my Dad worked building those flats with Waytes I still have a few old photos of him on the building site :)

Was that the night game at the end of 85/86 we lost 1-3?

If so I was in the away end which we sold out for what could have been the title decider but ended up a dead rubber (thanks to Chelsea losing at home to Liverpool)
