Spurs: Going out to Colchester is a pretty embarrassing way to lose a cup game
West Ham: Hold my beer
Spurs: Take a seat son...

Tbf the rumours aren't *that* controversial to lead to the poor spell they are having

The issue it seems to me is that lots of players have become a bit stale, and Pochettino is a bit bored. He strikes me as a manager who gets real enthusiasm and motivation from working with new players and brcause of their lack of activity in thw trqnsfer market he is stuck with quite a few players he doesn't really want any more

I suggested the other day loading up on him being next maanger to go at 11-1. He is 2-1 now
You would expect the esprit de corp that has enabled Spurs to survive three key players being involved in an incident such as that rumoured? You been reading the Roy Keane book of team motivational methods again?

Yes it's all very hilarious Spurs getting tanked etc, but the thing that is most striking for me is how many of their fans are now calling for Pochettino to go because he's "clearly lost the dressing room."

I've heard this from mates of mine who are normally fairly level headed Spurs fans (yes I know an oxymoron when I see one).

It was barely 4 months ago they were within 1 game of winning the champions league, now they want to sack the manager who has dragged them to that position because they've just lost heavily to one of the best teams in the world, and are a lowly 6th in the PL.

Fickle, much?

It’s not the fickleness it’s the obnoxiousness look at Harry winks the latest academy graduate to be classed as better than Noble a list that contains Jamie o’Hara Huddleston Livermore Mason all may I add have been capped for England. A spurs fan told me the NFL where funding half of their new stadium, another fan was adamant that spurs should be classed as a European giant because they have qualified for the CL 4 years on the spin. This constant obsession with wanting to be classed as the biggest team in the country you ain’t and never will be

What are the rumours at Tottenham, or are they too unsavoury to post?

Of course we have, but they lost 7-2 last night, so they get to be full on fickle today.

The much deserved Oxford result bashing I got after Colchester bashing is now being returned. yes yes, they will be able to get me back very soon, it's the West Ham way, but 7-2, I should theoretically have months on that.

There was a video of X and Y laughing and joking in training yesterday, so I would say it was unlikely, unless Y is a cuckold..

The whole project over there has gone stale, and it's more to do with Levy than to do with Pochettino.

On another note, just saw a tweet of apparently 200 Bayern fans in their home end last night. Imagine paying over a grand for that and to be told to sit down by the Stewards with the threat of being kicked out. Might be a nice ground, a fantastic ground even, but I think it's starting to hit home over there amongst some of them that the grass isn't always greener.

Lets see how we get on against Palace :D

I'm guessing defeat will lead to the Manuel Pellegrini thread being top of the forum

We're not as bad as them, but some people have a really good try

Why’s it to do with Levy?

Poch spent £120m in the closed season.

Ndombele (who their fans don’t rate)
Lo Celso
Ryan Sessegnon

All worthy additions I’d say, but Pochettino says the squad’s “unbalanced.” Well he’s assembled it. Personally I think he’s been tapped up, whether that be Madrid or United we shall see.

I think ultimately, they have 3-4 players that were clearly not in the manager plans for this coming season (who all knew, apparently) the fact they couldn't shift any of those players has to be Levy's fault, he is notorious for being a hard man to deal with, and more often than not manages to get top dollar for average players, it seems his desire to do this has bitten him on the backside on this occasion, as they didn't shift the players and now have no option but to play them, that is never going to be good for squad harmony, not to mention the manager's happiness.

They bought no one for two windows, £120 million isn't that much of a significant investment when factoring that in. Just like when we had a big payout in Pelboy's first window, it wasn't a "wow look at West Ham", it was West Ham catching up with the rest after windows of under investment.
