You know what that means. We're the ultimate footballing laxative. We should be available on the NHS.
Michael Owen getting out of his sickbed at Newcastle to score a hattrick against us.

Fernando Torres breaking his duck at Chelsea against us.

Just a few memories of Hammerslax doing its job.

Haller vs Cahill only has one winner, and Noble with Rice and Palace missing Milojilovic should be good news for us.

Hopefully they're daft enough to put Zaha against Fredericks who will match him for pace.

3-0 West Ham

I still feel confident we can get 3 points however as said earlier in the thread, it will be far from easy.

Not expecting a high scoring game as Palace aren’t free scoring - especially away from home, and whilst we clearly have goals in us, we can at times find it hard to break well organised teams down.

Can see us scoring a few but also conceding a few genuinely worried abt the goalkeeping situation.

big game today. it will give us an indication of where we are. if we can get the win, a top 6 finish will be a realistic goal. anything less, then we'll have to settle for a mid-table season. COYI!

That is brilliant. Those boys were my childhood heroes. Nice to see how excited Ray Stewart gets when we score.

Palace are tough opponents, but something tells me we're going to turn it on today. 3-1 West Ham.

If Fab were playing today, how many saves do you think he would have had to make in the entire match ? I reckon about 3 or 4 and I don't expect Roberto to have make any more than that either. In order to score, Palace have to breach our defence first so I'm not too worried about the goalkeeper situation. I see quite a comfortable win for us today with Haller getting on the scoresheet again. 2-0 Irons, with two second half goals

If Anderson is up for it today, we'll win.

Big game for Roberto. Hopefully he'll put any fears to rest.

I'll go for 2-1. Haller and Oggy from a corner.

Opportunity today to set our stall out as serious contenders for a place in Top 6.
We should win this and we need to really.

I'm not too sure where all the confidence abaout scoring goals is coming from, we've scored just 2 more than Aston Villa who reside in the bottom 3, and Palace have conceded just 7 goals all season, with four of those coming from Tottenham.

They'll be double diffcult to break down, with an old fashioned English manager at the helm, we'll be looking at 2 solid banks of four all afternoon, drilled meticuously by a manager happy to cut his cloth and know there is more than one way to acculmulate points in this league.

A single goal will deliver the points for either club this afternoon, hopefully banged in by Seb Haller, but this could be grim viewing today.

For a variety of reasons I have gone from a season ticket to doing just a couple of games a season over the last 18 months.

I'm at this one today though :scarfer:

Feeling optimistic at this point. I don't know what the stats are but i feel like we tend to do fairly well against Palace at home.

Fingers crossed that Roberto plays a blinder today.
