Anything goes in The Snug, General Discussion's rebellious little brother. An off-topic den of iniquity where any subject not covered elsewhere may be discussed. Well, anything except golf, Star Wars and Arsenal.

Nice.
Ouch. Throwing things is not cool. Unless it's something very soft & lightweight.

Have to say it hurt more than I thought it would having watched players/refs get clobbered by them at matches occasionally.

Sorry to hear that mate.

If my wife did that to me I would be tempted to chin her.

But I expect I would use it as an excuse to have a break for a few days.

She wants me to go mate.

I'm not keen but too many more things like that and I won't be able to put up with it.

I'm away for work for 4 days this week , she'll have trouble chucking any coins as far as China.

Oh...not that she chucked any coins according to her, once she realised what she'd done.

If it was anyone else, I'd certainly be thinking about it. Although if it was anyone else, I'd have smashed their face in most likely.

She's a bright, professional woman, you wouldn't think this sort of thing would come out of her but when it gets to a certain point she snaps and these things happen occasionally.

I'm in no danger from her really but she knows I'd never retaliate so feels comfortable doing it.

If it was the other way round and you were doing it to her you'd be seen as the scum of the earth.

A £2 coin is quite hefty, I bet that ****ing hurt!

If that was the other way round, would she be playing the 'victim' card?

Come on, own up, which of you was it that won £170m last night?
Needless to say it wasn't me & that irritated me, although I did win £2.90 so that's a profit of 40p..
It's amazing how many really BIG winners couldn't handle it & wish they'd never won it. I suppose it could well turn your life upside down & inside out. An utterly, life changing experience.
Perhaps on condition of receiving the cheque you should be forced to undergo some kind of therapy & advice, to deal with it.

I'd suffer my life being changed to the tune of £170m.

Apparently, the runner up prize was £3.4m. That'd do.

Imagine getting 4 & 2 stars, last night. 1 ball short of sharing £170m.
£2,687.60...I'd be...disappointed..
