I'm not sure we've even got enough to beat the Geordies. Another draw I think.

I'll be a tourist next week for my first and probably only game of the season.

Looking forward to the day itself rather than the game..... a another draw probably.

2-2

Well, the players have a full week of hard training to prepare for this game and for Pellers, let's just say, if he cant beat a Steve Bruce team, then he deserves to be sacked and he would have no complaints

Yep. The last 4 games he's come on as sub for them. He already seems to be less injured, than he was with us.

I would like to see a change of formation, as usually it’s a change of players but the same system. I Would like us to go 3-5-2 with Masuaku and Fredricks wing backs.

Roberto
Diop Balbuena Ogbonna
Fredricks Masuaku
Snodgrass Rice Noble
Yarmolenko
Haller

Subs. Martin, Lanzini, Ajeti, Zabeleta, Anderson,Fornals, Holland.

This game we have to win, and I’m going for a 2-0 win.

COYI!!!

If we adopt a radical new approach to our attacking strategy whereby we attempt to kick the ball in the direction of the opposition's goal rather than trying to walk the ball over the goal line then perhaps we stand a chance.

another tough match where the barcodes have a couple of useful players who will hurt us if we allow them to. joe linton looks a handful and they have two hardworking brothers in their midfield.

we need to have committed and motivated players - a problem it seems
we need a style of play - another problem at present
we need to pass quicker and forward - problem
we need to support haller - problem

so a week of hard work with players telling us how hard they are working and they know what to do to put it right !

we need some pace in the team so I would bring in masuaka and fredericks at fullback. I expect creesswell to start though so my team would be

roberto
fredericks diop balbuena cresswell
noble rice snodgrass
yarmolenko haller anderson

subs martin masuaka ogbnna fornals lanzini holland ajeti

anderson told to start running and be nore direct and take players on .
if we arnt getting anywhere then time to give ajeti a good 30 mins with haller.
would also like to see holland come on for 20 mins and have a go ! he replaces either anderson or yarmolenko depending on how bad they are !
fornals to come on for noble in CM. play him in his position. leave lanzini on the bench.

not sure which west ham will turn up or what the score will be so going for 0-0 bore draw to guarantee an exciting match !
my last live game for awhile so I hope its a good one !

It's all starting to get depressing after a rather positive start to the season - the thing is there are no easy games in the Premiership unless you're Leicester City playing Southampton [ oh yeah , at least we're not Southampton , eh or worse , Manchester United ? ] - we don't seem to cope well with losing any more , a 1-1 draw with Sheffield Utd has seen a few of us book the VIP Room at Dignitas , yes it's that time of the season again ,- Pellegrini's too old and run out of ideas , the players are all shyte , the place is a craphole , ' I'm selling my season ticket and buying a gun ' ....

Let's hope we win then .

I hope you are right but if yesterday was the players trying extra hard after the evrton game then we are in trouble.

we have no identity or players that care. they are all journeymen apart from noble and rice. noble wouldn't get in a top 10 side and rice will no doubt be off after another poor season.

Anderson lanzini wilshere yarmolenko haller all on big money for f all !

He's got a groin strain just this week, out of the Wolves match.

Newcastle look like complete relegation fodder to date this season, so I wouldn't say this is must win for us but it's 100% should win.

Doubtless we'll start with the same midfield that just played, fail to create anything, then see Haller criticised for not doing enough when he's getting nothing but long balls to head down.

Sheffield United came to the London Stadium with one of the best away records in the Premier League and despite signing some very good players in his first season with us restrictions have been put on Pellegrini which saw 5 of our strikers leaving in the summer to be replaced by 2 - our Squad is too small and cannot cope with injuries to just two players . It was no good employing one of the World's Top Managers if they weren't going to back him in his second season . We need Owners to match the Manager .

Hope we give Andy Carroll a good reception .

I can only see it being another draw.

If they score first though the fans will turn and we are then in big trouble unfortunately.

Carroll with a late winner would be the ultimate West Ham kick in the nuts.
