Re: ⚽ Burnley FC v West Ham United: Match thread (09/11)
I predict the following:
15:16 - Chris Wood gets his head to the ball from a Robbie Brady cross to put Burnley one nil up.
15:17 - KUMB crashes.
15:28 - KUMB comes back online, this topic has numerous duplicate posts.
15:40 - Dwight McNeil makes it two. Pellegrini gives his best impression of Allardyce at Swansea.
15:41 - KUMB crashes.
15:54 - KUMB comes back online, the post "NOBLE IS DONE" appears 18 times in a row.
16:40 - A cross from McNeil is sliced into his own net by Diop.
16:25 - KUMB crashes.
16:45 - Full time whistle goes.
16:50 - KUMB comes back online, someone suggests replacing Diop with somebody from the Under 13's. Nathan Holland's name is mentioned 4857385 times.
Alternatively, we will win 1-0.

He certainly can't see the Wood for the trees and up front we can't hit a Barn(es) door! See what I did there.Puff Daddy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 12:53 pm Doubt if Pellers has a ****ing scooby who Wood and Barnes are, so that's exactly what he will do. You know it and I know it

Just have an horrible feeling that Pellegrini may play Sanchez. Then we will know that he's completely lost the plot.
Re: ⚽ Burnley FC v West Ham United: Match thread (09/11)
Why? Most people are crying out for a dedicated defensive midfielder to play. I would play him alongside Rice and give Noble a rest.

Yeah I've finally lost it but f*** it, let's just take the game to them.

Because he can't pass the ball 10 yards without it going astray. A liability.

He fits in with most of the others then!
I think Sanchez’s lack of quality is overplayed. I am surprised at how strong people’s views are considering how little game time he has had in our shirt.

Errrrm, interesting!...at least it won't end 0-0...
Re: ⚽ Burnley FC v West Ham United: Match thread (09/11)
Burnley are a solid hard working in your face home team and we have a terrible keeper and also our best players are out of form and playing with little confidence in general. There will only be one outcome I am afraid and it won’t be a good one for us.
Burnley 3 West Ham 1
All 3 Burnley goals to come from set pieces.

Quite often recently the head has suggested we should win with our squad/players - but the heart has sensed a loss.
Strangely, I’m the other way round this time. Funny feeling we’ll win. Absolutely no rationale or basis.

Bad runs have to end at some point. I'm going for a win for us... But I think it'll be tight.

Well at least the beer is cheap in Burnley.
Last season's game was the worst I had seen us play for a long time, but matched and surpassed by last Saturday's performance. Play the U-23's, the lot of them.
