Peaches
Haller has been awful lately, I think most were hoping for at least a Haller up top with Antonio close(r) to him as we did look a little better when those two were on together last week (although we couldn't have looked much worse to be honest)
and Antonio isn't exactly an out and out striker is he ? like I said we're gonna all look silly when we pull off a 4-0 win...

You've got up too early Cuenca, you might be a bit light-headed..Cuenca 'ammer wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 2:23 pm and Antonio isn't exactly an out and out striker is he ? like I said we're gonna all look silly when we pull off a 4-0 win...

As much as he probably feels sorry for his fellow keeper (they are generally a tight knit group) he is within touching distance of the brass ring. He has to grab it (and maybe show his mate how to grab and hold a ball...).
He basically just has to get through it without any obvious and glaring errors that lead to goals.
Glad to see Pellers resisted the temptation to put Rice in the back 4 and put Sanchez on.
This is about the best we can put out right now and all we can do is cross our fingers that Antonio is ready to start and a couple of the others are dragged along by his enthusiasm.

We are ****ed with that midfield. Hideous. I'm off to the shed to oil my cricket bat. Pardon?

It’s just so West Ham to do something like this though.
Normally when a team is having an absolute stinker, all they need to do is either change their manager or play West Ham next.
Unfortunately we don’t have the luxury of playing ourselves

Balbuena and Cresswell...urgh. Masuaku and Sanchez should both be playing and these two chancers dropped with Rice in at the back

that would be the only time that the PL would see both teams lose !!!!!miketheloop wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2019 2:29 pm It’s just so West Ham to do something like this though.

Looks as if he is after his pay off to me, I would have like to seen Haller and Antonio up front. Re Martin did he not make a mistake for wall in a last season cup match. Lets hope he does good today his dad will be well proud.

Fat Frank rests Kante and Willian in midfield, just shows how poor we are.
Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)
Would have had Masuaku and Haller in that team. But at least Pelle had shaken up the team a bit.

Willian would have torn us a new one (or more.....)
Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)
Interesting he’s dropped Diop, maybe he needed a rest, but alarmed he’s bought back Balbuena who’s looked shocking this season.
At least Pellers has found Masuaku, nice to see him on the bench, though if you’re going ‘experimental’ I would have kept Haller on the pitch and pushed Masuaku up on the left to put some crosses in.
Can’t understand why he’s starting Mike, he’s just back from injury. Smacks of throwing all your players up in the air and seeing where they land.

Re: ⚽ Chelsea v West Ham United: Match thread (30/11)
Antonio goes up top with Haller and suddenly Haller looked interested again as that's what he's used to...playing in a front 2/3.
So he's dropped for the next game so we can play our usual formation.
You never know we might be surprised today but Anderson and Fornals need to turn up this season and Balbuena not stink the place out again.
