It would not be so bad if he would just apologise for the fact that well over half of his games since he took over have seen us barely turn up.
Not to mention shipping 8 goals to Wimbledon and Oxford.
The real joy will be the Arsenal press conference. Does he actually turn up or do they put a puppet there with the same recording each week?

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
As good as the Chelsea win was a part of me couldn't help but think that it paprered over cracks. Pellegrini has not lost the dressing room, fair enough, but I seriously wonder whether he knows what he is doing. You know its bad when we have a 45 million pound striker up front but we're all relying on Michail Antonio to be our saviour. What is the point in spending all money on a big man up front when we're not playing the system for him to be effective. It's no coincidence that he scored 20 goals and got 12 assists for Frankfurt last season.
We're now back to the same old, all the mouth but no teeth.

Cant wait for the next guy to make us hard to beat, and when we get fed up of him I look forward to getting someone in to try and play football again. Fun. West Ham is fun..

He doesn’t look like he really cares, and I think he would be relatively happy if he got the chop.
He’s got no fire in his belly, which is probably to do with his age. This doesn’t bode well for us as we increasingly look like a relegation threatened team.
It’s best for all parties if we cut our losses with him. But who do we bring in?

Eddie Howe needs a new challenge as I think it's all gone a bit stale at Bournemouth. I think we should consider bringing him to East London.

I reckon he has already been tapped up. Thing is, who by ? My money is on Everton although as he is in last year of his contract the Dave's would never have a better chance of getting him.TommyHammer wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2019 10:17 pm Eddie Howe needs a new challenge as I think it's all gone a bit stale at Bournemouth. If we do end up replacing Manuel, I'd guess we will get someone out of work

Biesla would be my man for the mess we’re in.
Man would bring a culture change.
Never gonna happen mind you.

Howe would need some serious money to spend for us to improve as us and Bournemouth look exactly the same. Slow and toothless and conceding goals.

Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
I don’t know. There is a thread somewhere that talks about Klopp having picked the wrong club. I tell you now, he curses himself daily for turning down West Ham. So much so that soon he will walk out of Anfield and beg the Dave’s to take him back. There is your better manager.
Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
Let's be honest, it's irrelevant who the manager is.
We're just treading mid table water until they sell up to someone with ambition who wants to take the club forwards.

He’s got 1 more game for me. If he can get the players back up again like we did at Chelsea for the game against Arsenal then maybe he has got something about him but it always felt to me like the Chelsea win was a real one-off, out of the ordinary win.
Last chance Manuel.

"We wanted to go and win two games in a row. We didn't play a bad game, but they scored on a set-piece. We had an option to score through Snodgrass but didn't do it.
"I said before that when we didn't win games it was down to conceding at set-pieces. We never thought before this game we were going to win just because we beat Chelsea.
"We must now try to win our home game against Arsenal."
Sounds like someone who can't really be arsed

I wish we were treading midtable water. I think we’ll be bottom six for the foreseeable.
Re: Manuel Pellegrini West Ham United’s 17th manager
It's certainly possible, although it's pretty tight in there and they'll no doubt panic-loan in Jan.
