Yes but look what’s happened to the ones we’ve backed, in the end we turn on them, we are not going to appoint another manager and for some so called fans to say we should boo him is pathetic

Great and what help will that give to the team you supposedly support? How will that look to the many young kids who attend the match?

On MOTD on Saturday, one of the pundits suggested we re-appoint Allerdyce. It’s Moyes all the way for me.

Ignore him, this is the person that wished Enner Valencia break his leg when we signed him. He's a waste of space and thoroughly unpleasant.

The only thing in Moyes’ favour is that he’s not Fat Sam. BUT it’s the ONLY thing!

A fair point. If the poll listed, say, the Top 10 candidates for the role then 18% wouldn't be a bad score. Probably get 2nd or 3rd place. If the winner got 30% of the vote, then it's easy to put a negative spin on it and shout about 70% being against the appointment.

I would suggest attacking other fans and calling them "so called" and "pathetic" is rather more problematic.

Sadly, the boos would be a message to the board. Moyes is smart enough to know he isn't the problem, just a symptom, and we need to start showing we are not the mugs they think we are.

Unbelievably it would seem the already split and fractured fan base has found another divide.

[HH] wrote: Sun Dec 29, 2019 7:05 pm Moyes should have been given longer to begin with after he turned around the hopeless sinking ship that Bilic turned us into. Moyes was also the first to play Arnie in a position which clearly brought out the best in him.
He'd lost the dressing room with us in that short space of time, just like he'd done at Sunderland. You could tell the players weren't interested, the results showed that. If we'd have given him a longer contract we'd have been in terrible trouble. Yes he kept us up, but I think that was more fluke than by design. There were far worse teams than us around at that time and it just so happened Swansea, Stoke and West Brom were on a downward spiral and had been so for a good while. Swansea were third from bottom. If you compare their points to ours, there wasn't much in it.

West Ham United 38 10 12 16 48 68 −20 42

Swansea City 38 8 9 21 28 56 −28 33

The hard work had been done at the start of the season and Moyes just stopped us from being worse than them. Hardly inspirational. This is a terrible appointment and one that just goes to show how inept the board really are. They're chancers with no real knowledge of how football works. Remember the days when managers ran the club and hardly anybody knew the owners / chairpeople's names?

Apart from somehow persuading Poch, whoever they appointed would have had the same effect.

Yet we were in the bottom three when he took over. The results showed they weren't interested? We signed the season off with wins against Everton and Leicester and a credible draw with Man Utd the season they finished 2nd. If that's the players not interested I don't even want to know what they thought of Pellegrini.

That was said at the time as I felt he was no where near Premier League standard and we were paying well over the odds. I took abuse before the comment for my views and apologised for the the leg break comment after. But I was right. Enner was crap.

I've not been insulting other fans, called anyone pathetic or "so called"

I don't care what kids think, Moyes needs to be booed as a message to the board. Or should we just clap and pretend everything's alright? What kind of message is that to kids?

.

No he doesn't. He's a football manager that took a job after doing ok at the same job 2 seasons ago. Bring in a banner against the owners, chant against the owners...don't take the easy and moronic option to boo Moyes.

If we'd approached him we would have got the same thing as if we'd approached Neymar
