Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
His post game interview is already on the club’s official YouTube channel.
When asked about the away game against Gillingham at the weekend he says he’ll try and win the cup.
Obviously doesn’t mean we will but it’s an admission he’s aware us fans want him to give it a go.

And...
"West Ham were 3-0 ahead after just 35 minutes in this match, the earliest they've established such a lead in a Premier League game since May 2007 against Bolton (29 minutes)."
Decent start to his 2nd stint at the club. Let's see how things pan out as we're stuck with GSB whether we like it or not. We've played plenty of 'poor' Premier League sides in that 13/15 year spell under more attacking manager's and not bettered today's result, so credit where credits due...well done DM.
Yes, I cant remember when we last stuffed a team. When we win, its normally by a narrow margin and usually, not without a few heart stopping moments along the way, a couple a f*** ups at back, hurried clearances, proper edge of he seat stuff. Made for a nice change today

It's genuinely hilarious.Ironing Board wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 9:55 pm The thing I like is he achieved this against the much-feted Eddie Howe, who many were claiming is a superior coach.

Pearce hasn’t joined (yet) has he?Ironing Board wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 9:53 pm Having a top class coach like Alan Irvine and a good motivator like Pearcie will help too.

I will when the hate brigade do.
I have no axe to grind other than that it is clear that Moyes is a good PL coach.
Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
You’re coming across as a proper moron. Most of the posters you’re digging out have backed Moyes, read previous posts there’s plenty of praise for him.
Hilarious how you’re throwing a hissy fit because the Moyes thread is only 62 pages long, then claiming others have an agenda.

You can read any one of my posts pre- his reappointment. I thought he should have been extended last time. He's a good coach and I'd love to be where Everton were in his last five years.
No agenda beyond wanting our club to have a good manager.

No hissy fit. Just enjoying the humble pie going around.denzel wrote: ↑Wed Jan 01, 2020 10:00 pm You’re coming across as a proper moron. Most of the posters you’re digging out have backed Moyes, read previous posts there’s plenty of praise for him.

I suggest you don't call me a moron again, though.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
I’m repeating myself, but I think many influential Media people are Man Utd fans. They basically turned one of the best British managers of the last 20 or so years into a meme and a joke.
I would absolutely love it if he proves them all wrong and makes us one of the best teams in the league.
Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
There’s no hate brigade. You are delusional. The only “hate” is coming from you and posters in turn responding to your digs. Go and celebrate the win mate, the rest of us “haters” are enjoying it!

Everyone on here just for once is in a happy mood, everyone has a little bit of buzz and hope back.
Everyone seems UNITED.
But there has to be one prat who decides he wants to bring everyone down and make it all about him. Sad.

Re: David Moyes - 18th Permanent Manager of WHUFC
He brought energy, and honestly with Fab back that should be enough by itself. His tactics and team selection were basically the same as ones Pelle used, the differences were:
1. Noble ran harder, faster, and made far more plays than he has in months.
2. Snodgrass had a terrific match.
3. Bournemouth didn't press us much
4. Bournemouth has no pace to threaten us on the counter
5. The whole side seemed a bit relieved that the ... "manager will be fired at any moment" pressure was off.
I was firmly in the camp that Moyes would not be my choice for a long-term deal, but also that I thought he would keep us up. I'm interested to see what he does in the window, if anything, and how he handles rotation in CM if we don't sign one.
