Seems like Roberto might be playing... Moyes said Fabianski hasn’t trained

According to Moyes, part of getting the job was agreeing with Sullivan that they take the FA Cup seriously.
I smell a strong whiff of bull, he is already preparing us for the return of Roberto Magnifico.

If this is the case, I'd like to think if we can put in a similar performance like the one against Bournemouth, he won't be that troubled.PlaistowIron wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 3:09 pm Seems like Roberto might be playing... Moyes said Fabianski hasn’t trained

Roberto did well to keep the score down last time.
Re: Gillingham v West Ham United: FAC3 Match Thread
If Fab is having a reaction to 2 games in 4 days I would rather risk Roberto away at Gillingham than play Fab and then see Roberto or whatever other replacement we might get in play for the next 6 weeks or something like that. Same would go for any other first teamer carrying a knock.
Martin is a great story but he is not a long term number 2, those moaning about Randolph would have a field day if Martin was exposed long term to the Premier.
To suggest Randolph is no better than Roberto is strange, for me there was nothing between Adrian and Randolph - could be great but both with a major mistake in them on a pretty consistent basis ( with Roberto it is pretty much at least 1 a game) - yet Adrian is treated by some as harshly done by.
Sunday Diop and Lanzini should start perhaps Zaba as well, I would not object if they gave a youngster a game at least off the bench - if Coventry and/or Holland are to be loaned out to League 1 why not one or both of them?

I think Snodgrass will play.
I'd go:-
----------------Roberto
Fredericks--Diop--Ogbonna--Masuaku
-------------------Rice
-----------Coventry--Snodgrass
Anderson-----------------------Lanzini
-------------------Haller

Not about the match really, but found this funny on Twitter:
"Would be typical West Ham to play like Liverpool in the brink of WW3"

I was actually thinking the same thing, it would be our luck to get to the FA cup final and then WW3 breaks out.Ironing Board wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 6:26 pm Not about the match really, but found this funny on Twitter:

Still until then I've got £50 on us at 33/1 win the cup outright COYI

Re: Gillingham v West Ham United: FAC3 Match Thread
I’d go three at the back for this. Especially if Cresswell, Snodgrass and Antonio are out. Stick Lanzini and Anderson up near Haller and tell them to go direct and run at the Gillingham defence at every opportunity.

Please don’t snow like the last time I was down there.
Re: Gillingham v West Ham United: FAC3 Match Thread
You said our main centre mids. That’s Noble and Rice.
Re: Gillingham v West Ham United: FAC3 Match Thread
It’s not fully healed. Hence why he trained separately. You really are making a tit of yourself here.
