Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
It just makes too much sense, therefore won’t happen with these ownersAceface wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 2:09 pm I have no idea if they've even been linked, but I bet Bowen ends up at Leicester.
Their title tilt was based on long-shot recruitment moves, but since then they've gone the other way to the type of recruitment which is almost boringly sensible. He'd be completely in that category.
Young goalscorer, at a guess would cost around the £20m mark if he fails Championship clubs won’t forget what he’s been doing the past couple of years and will pay north of £10m if he succeeds lord knows what the price tag would be
Your spot on this is exactly where Leicester have been getting it right

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I quite like the strength , pace and skill of gabriel barbosa (Gabrigol) on the you-tube clips (but can you ever trust these 'best-of' videos?). If he's one of those players who doesn't like 'pressing' then Moyes might not want him but his goal stats look impressive. Doubt that we can get him for £20m because other clubs might pay more.
One thing I've heard is Samuelson extended loan has been refused so maybe Moyes has plans for him in our first team (hope so as he looks skilful).

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Samuelson is never gonna make it as a Premier League player, no chance
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Outs:
Lanzini (£15m)
Yarmolenko (£10m)
Hugill (£2.5m)
Ins:
Berge (£15m)
Bowen (£15m)
Fernandes (loan to buy)
Would be the dream. Could easily happen, but won't.

Noble ruined him when we played them. Physically and mentally.goa127 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 12:40 pm Anyone enthusiastic about cantwell obviously didn't see his recent league cup performance. Beyond abysmal. Literally couldn't kick the ball straight. I'm not saying he's not a promising young player, but an erratic playmaker may be a position that doesn't need filling at whu

Dyche says he's not extending Drinkwater's loan, so back to Chelsea for him

Drinkwater just isn't that good. He never was.
Completely unremarkable player, on a massive decline.
It will be distressing to me if we went for him.

And a drink problem. Tore his ankle ligaments whilst at Burnley after a nightclub beating. Stay away.

Only just turned 30 as well. There is an amazing team out there paying in an alternate Universe made up of West Ham 'should've-been's':-Crouchend_Hammer wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 4:30 pm A real waste of talent there

A fully fit Winston Reid marshalling Jordan Spence, Oscar Borg and Ben Johnson at the back. Wilshere and Ravel Morrison pulling the strings just in front of of Alex Song - and wonderkid Savio chucking them in from the wing for big Andy Carroll and Sakho to hammer home.
Roberto can go in goal.

I was surprised to read the other day that Jordan Spence is married to a famous actress and has pretty much given up football to work in production/ directing with her

Freddie Sears causing havoc from the bench, Robert Hall is our top scorer, whilst Leo Chambers is the captain.Turns to Stone wrote: ↑Fri Jan 03, 2020 4:56 pm Only just turned 30 as well. There is an amazing team out there paying in an alternate Universe made up of West Ham 'should've-been's':-

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
what we don't need is old has been players such as Randolph, drinkwater giroud or joe allen.
berge and fernandes would be ideal.
still need a RB and a CF plus a CB as cant rely on Winston .
not much to get rid of for fees; yarmolenko 10m, hughill 5m , Cullen 2m
no one will take wilshere or sanchez.
recall diagana especially if Holland is out on loan. would rather send him to uncle slav than oxford !
hopefully we will get a new player in before the Sheffield match next week.
