Half truth on the wind up, sometimes it can’t be helped. It seems anything that goes against the anti-board and general pub talk of players/managers ability is a wind up on here. My yacht is 3 days from arriving in Antigua on delivery, so won’t be around for a few months (sketchy internet in the Caribbean marinas). Hopefully back when the seasons over mid-April.Ironing Board wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:42 am There is a wonderful subsection of posters who are thick/conspiratorially minded enough to think that I have anything to do with this other guy. A guy who, funnily enough, is a complete wind up merchant!

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I cannot see why Fellaini would give up his £200k a week. There is no way he is coming which is fine by me as generally I would not want him with 1 caveat.
If there proved no other option I would far rather him coming off the bench to close things out or try to change the flow of a game in the last 20 than Carlos Sanchez. I assume those who do not want him (or indeed Allen as he has generally been seen as a serious target) would prefer us to stick with Sanchez and what he offers if we cannot get a deal for another target.

Maybe Felliani will fall in with the romance of an 18 month with possibility to make permanent. I think 18 will be the most talked about number this year at West Ham. Actually wondering what is going on in 18 months time now...

I used to quite like IB but now we’ve got this other wally geeing him up it’s wearing a bit thin.

Didn't his eyes go too? He had to wear protective goggles because they were sensitive or something?e-20 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 12:36 am His knees went, I can sympathise with him even if it's happened 25 years later than his. There is only so much damage and swelling you can play through on that front sadly especially once you lose any semblance of your natural fitness. Deterioration might be gradual but eventually you go over a cliff you simply can't climb back up. To think it was him or Kante that second season, little changes on the decisions front.

Are you thinking of Edgar Davids?unmartillo wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 1:42 am Didn't his eyes go too? He had to wear protective goggles because they were sensitive or something?
EDIT
Seems not. And you're not having a David Gold moment.
Well done, Leon. (below)

I’m heading further south, I try not to go to close to Florida! Did they recover well from the hurricane damage?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Maybe he only intended staying there for a short while on massive wages and hates it even more than he expected.
Put yourself in his place last year. You're earning c.£120k per week as a fringe player at a not-very-good-by-previous-standards Man U. You get the opportunity to play in China for more than double the [take home] money. Your agent is convinced he can get you out of there in six months, probably back to the Premier League for a similar standard club but with more regular football if he's willing to go back to his Man U wages.
It's not out of the question that he would leave megabucks China to join us.

New Providence wasn’t hit. Abaco was smashed to bits and only just got electric back.
Sorry, miles off topic.

Tragic. I think it will get worse in that area with current weather patterns.Morocco Mole wrote: ↑Fri Jan 10, 2020 2:12 am New Providence wasn’t hit. Abaco was smashed to bits and only just got electric back.

Good news on the Felliani front. Seems like he would be earning too much money and won’t get a contract extension. Good excuse for him to jump ship and join the Moyes revival.

It’s puzzling that the club isn’t allowing KUMB to have seats on official supporters groups, when David Moyes himself has two accounts on the forum

How many actually voted on the website? Last time I checked was under 400. Hardly gonna sway the owners. Best way to get the owners involved is to offer them ownership for 18 months - with clause to buy for £500.
