Or he was never interested in moving because there was no bids.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
Many captains seem to offer a lot of intrinsic value to the team as the captain. Take them out of that club and they seem less appealing. Most captains stick around the clubs for long spells too. Deeney and Henderson spring to mind.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
What's the point in asking for a move if there's no interest in him (from a better club that is of course)
The question was - why hasn't no club come in for him.
And it was answered with "because everyone knew he wouldn't leave.
I believe it's the other way around
Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
Does he get some sort of contract bonus for reaching a certain amount of sideways passes/falling over?

Have always been a big fan of Nobes but he was really poor tonight. Time for him to be phased out of the starting line-up. He will occasionally play a blinder but those games are getting fewer and far between unfortunately..

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
He was absolutely ***** tonight. He could not compete at all. We can not get away with him in midfield anymore.
Hopefully that will be an eye opener for people that he got the run around by 3 middle of the road, bang average midfielders.
I think this also shows we don't have to go out and spend £50m on a big name midfielder. Loads of midfielders in the Championship that will wipe the floor with what Noble is offering right now.

Bad game tonight for Mark but how many midfielders have been found wanting away to Sheff Utd this season? When Declan went through late in the game he had 4 players around him. Sheff Utd overload the middle and the offensive back up the full backs. Very well organized team who give you no space or time on the ball. I watched that lot beat Arsenal at home and they dominated Arsenal,s midfield so much the front 2 never got a look in.

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
I think that's the worst I've ever seen him tonight.
I can't remember a more anonymous game. Sometimes he's bad but he's involved and trying, just making mistakes and being off the pace. Tonight was like he wasn't even on the pitch. Absolutely tragic performance.

Agree, but what are the CM alternatives currently?
Snodgrass ok for 45 minutes as a CM but then tires.
Sanchez - no better than a traffic cone in CM.
Lanzini, Fornals, too physically weak to play CM.
Mistake selling the likes of Kouyate, Obiang and Edi Fernandez.
Rice is doing 2/3 mans job in CM

Re: Mark Noble - West Ham Legend
Yes to both
I'm a huge fan of Noble but last night as we watched the game, halfway through the first half, my brother in law ( a Millwall fan!) asked me why wasn't Noble playing!! I had to point him out on TV screen for him, it was an anonymous performance.
As excellent as he was vs Bournemouth, last night was awful.
He'll bounce back, hopefully.
