Agree on Haller. He's clearly a very good player. As well as the above, he's also suffering from playing in a side that's been off-form and has low morale, and probably internally, he's at least questioning the move. I think he's looked better since Moyes joined though. Very good against Bournemouth. Made a great finish vs Sheff Utd, but was sadly offside.vaz te's bonnet wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 8:44 am For what it is worth I think Haller is a cracking player but we dont play in a way that allows his skill set to thrive.
He is not a striker that you leave 30 yards from everyone else and hope he does something
Yarmolenko I feel sorry for as the achilles injury ruined him. He was on a run of form and adapting to the league. Now he seems slower.

The price tag is going to colour assessments of him (maybe rightfully), but he's still on course to net the most goals by one of our strikers since Marlon.

Signing a currently injured keeper as back up to a currently injured keeper.
Just why?
Just why?

Not just that, a currently injured keeper that's failed here once before??
Honestly, we are a laughing stock.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I doubt we've actually spent anywhere near that, I'd imagine they still owed us money for his transfer to them, and we will of course defer the payment to the summer or / and over instalments.Denbighammer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:09 am Uninspiring, lazy, cheapskate bastards. Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I wouldn't go so far as to say he failed, it's just the mind boggling fact we need a keeper that's ready now, and yet we signed one injured.Denbighammer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:12 am Not just that, a currently injured keeper that's failed here once before??

I get what Ozza is saying about ££££, but it's a waste of ££££ paying his wages whilst he crocked.
I just don't get this signing whatsoever.

We put a buy back clause for £4.5m for Randolph, look who’s laughing now, we’ve managed to undercut the buy back clause by £500k...... yet another deal of the century

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Signing a 32 year old injured goalkeeper on a 3.5 year deal to backup our injured 34 year old goalkeeper because our two 33 year old backup goalkeepers have been deemed not good enough.
Peak West Ham.

Don't lessen Gold's role in all of this; he is equally complicit as the other one.Phil Parkes' Gloves wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 11:13 am You know why.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Our current league position is highly linked to our goalkeeping situation. It's only logical that they decided the man to get us out of this funk is the guy who was deemed not good enough 18 months ago.
