To be fair to Masuaku, his control and ability to run with the ball (and even take players on), is on a level above most in our team. He also has a rocket of a shot.Puff Daddy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:42 pm For the benefit of any Marseilles and Napoli fans and/or agents taking a sneaky look at this forum to gauge support or WHU fans feelings whether they should sign him. I'd be absolutely gutted if he leaves, fantastic player
The problem is that these skills are coupled with his inability to make the right decision and stay in position - very frustrating.

Would take Lazaro in a heartbeat. If it’s a loan then I hope we have the option.

Saw a bit of the inter match yesterday and Lazaro played.
Likes to get forward, has pace to burn but according to the commentators lacks a bit of final product

If you think about it over the past decade we really have signed some disastrous goalkeepers bar Fabianski, you look back to when we signed Joe Hart off the back of a season in Italy where he conceded 66 league goals, whoever is scouting these goalkeepers seriously needs to take a long hard look at themselves, by the way Good luck Randolph because your going to need it, firstly getting fit and secondly dealing with our mostly shocking defending

They would never sell him to us and neither would he want to come but now you’ve mentioned it he’s surely on his way to spurs. I’ve seen him play, gonna be world classItalian Hammer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 8:34 pm Saw a bit of the inter match yesterday and Lazaro played.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
adrian vs randolph. there is only 1 of these keepers that will have a PL medal at the end of this year. adrian is better.
the truth is that both improved when they left us.
maybe we need a new GK coach.
we've signed up 3 keepers this year, none of whom are of PL quality. we should be signing someone with a chance to take over from fab who would increase in value rather than wasting money on players who lose their value. it's pathetic.

I think if we sold Roberto to Liverpool he would end up winning something, Adrian has looked dodgy at times but Liverpool don’t concede nowhere near as many goal scoring chances as we do

I can see the flaw in your thinking about this right there.keithwright1977 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 8:42 pm If you think about it over the past decade we really have signed some disastrous goalkeepers bar Fabianski, you look back to when we signed Joe Hart off the back of a season in Italy where he conceded 66 league goals, whoever is scouting these goalkeepers seriously needs to take a long hard look at themselves, by the way Good luck Randolph because your going to need it, firstly getting fit and secondly dealing with our mostly shocking defending

Definitely, I think we would have still lost the games when Roberto played, if Adrian was in goal, or a lot of other keepers. They were poor team performances imo.keithwright1977 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 8:52 pm I think if we sold Roberto to Liverpool he would end up winning something, Adrian has looked dodgy at times but Liverpool don’t concede nowhere near as many goal scoring chances as we do

The problem is unless we have a world class goalkeeper in front of our low in confidence defence then championship here we comeSir_Trevor wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 8:55 pm I can see the flaw in your thinking about this right there.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
You do wonder whether it was partly down to lack of confidence in the goalkeeper that they were such poor team performances.Southminster Hammer wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 8:57 pm Definitely, I think we would have still lost the games when Roberto played, if Adrian was in goal, or a lot of other keepers. Odd if we’ve signed him and he’s not fit. If that’s the case they’re almost semi-writing off the games whilst him and Fab get fit. That would be understandable if we were bringing in one for the future or we’re in mid table mediocrity. But given our position a couple of points could be the difference between staying up and going down c£120m ish of revenue. Even if we stay up - £2m per place in the league and 3 points could be worth 2 or 3 positions come the season end....

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
No obviously if our team played well every week then we wouldn’t be talking about relegation at the moment but at critical moments in games having a confident back four plus goalkeeper can make the differencehammer1975 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 9:10 pm You do wonder whether it was partly down to lack of confidence in the goalkeeper that they were such poor team performances.

Randolph was sh*t here before, Adrian was head and shoulders above him. Fabianski is head and shoulders above both.
Randolph pulls off a Kodak save and everyone w*nks over it causing them to forget the pretty routine saves he fails to make.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Any time I see us and Newcastle with the words "offered by agent" I know it's a player not getting sold. Means he wants out and his agent just started going down the list of richest clubs until he saw ones that were struggling.bubbles1966 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 15, 2020 7:18 pm
Also, being suggested that Yarmolenko has been touted to Turkish clubs.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I don't really know why we are still debating who was better Randolph or Adrian ? when either of them made a rickett it Always led to a goal against us , Adrian has made a few cock ups this season too , but nothing compares to the ineptitude of Roberto Nothing !I cant actually think of 1 gk this season that hasn't cocked up , im more hopeful of us trying to fill the other glaring gaps in our squad
