we might need him now as yarmolenko has completely dropped off and I would sell for 8-10m. 30 years old, injury prone, one footed, lazy and doesn't run much.

diagana complete opposite and if we are sending Holland out on loan there is a place at least on the bench for him !

we have Anderson who we are playing central/left, Antonio who is injury prone, masuaka who is a LWB and Snodgrass who doesn't have the pace to beat anyone and is 32. I would say diagana would be very high up on this list of wide players . second to Anderson ! get him back to the club now.

I personally think Diangana would walk into the team now.

We could really do with him running to be honest Denzil.

Why would he want to be different to the other 10 players on the pitch though?

Albion negotiating new loan deal to keep Diangana
Albion are working on a loan deal that will see Grady Diangana remain at the club this season and potentially next season as well.

Snapped up on a temporary basis from West Ham back in August, Diangana has been integral to the Baggies' rise to the top of the Championship.

The Hammers have the option to recall the winger from his loan at The Hawthorns this month – with the Premier League outfit having until January 27 to make a decision.

But with Albion eager to keep him – and with other clubs interested in the 21-year-old – West Ham want an increase to the initial loan fee the Baggies paid to sign Diangana in the summer.

Albion are willing to increase the amount they paid – with a deal for Diangana to remain at the club understood to be close to completion.

And as part of the negotiations, the two clubs are also discussing a further £3million deal that would see the winger remain on loan at The Hawthorns next season as well.

When you look at the likely bench for tomorrow's game, I'd get him back now. Definitely should not extend the deal to cover next season as well though.

They can f*ck right off.
If they are in the PL next season, he can play for his own team.

No chance we should let him go there again next season. Let him see the season out, get them promoted and we will have him back.

If we go down and they go up, where do you think he'll want to play?

We'll sell him and ask them to loan him back

Not a fan of a 2nd season being locked in, just because there are so many variables.

For this year though, keeping him there is smart. Our team is thin so many places, but where Diangana plays isn't one of them. He'd struggle with there being at most 2 places for him to try and beat out: Lanzini, Anderson, Fornals, Snodgrass, Antonio, Yarmolenko for playing time. Winger is the only position we really have a lot of depth. Now if we go down, or even if we move a few of the older players in the summer, then the bench place might be a good fit for him. Right now though, he'd be a peripheral figure here while at West Brom he's getting a lot of valuable development time.

Off injured after just two minutes :(

Only just back from injury as well apparently. Not good.

He didn’t look happy at all.

Maybe this is the reason Moyes didn’t want to rush him back, could be a coincidence but didn’t want to risk him in prem

We should recall him immediately. His training is complete.

He is ready for our first team squad now. Seems to understand what is required of someone in that position.

West Brom haven't won in the 5 games he's been injured.

Looks set to be 6 after tonight. He's very important for them.

Can't see them risking anything near a full team at the weekend with their form so poor.
