When you wake up this morning, know that you have an opportunity to make a difference. I’d like you to think about our beloved club for a minute. . . think about what’s happened to it, think about how far down the river it and you have been sold.

This morning is not just another Saturday morning. . . it’s the Saturday morning where you can make a difference.

You may feel disillusioned, you may be disappointed, you may have “had enough of it” and maybe you have told yourself that you’re done, and you’re packing it in.

You might be hurting inside, you may be angry at the lies and betrayal served up to you by our board. The world class transport links that leave you being bearded like cattle may have gotten to you. The embarrassment of scaffolding , concrete blocks and cable ties holding up your world class stadium may have gotten to you, or perhaps the sanitised atmosphere and overpriced club merch leaves you with a little bit of sick in your mouth, that the over-priced beer can’t wash away.

Maybe it’s the stewards man-handling our kids in the bridges, or the tightening in your chest when you see our disabled fans having to wait to get through barriers in the rain.

Maybe it’s the way they let away fans sit in front of you these days, or that they’ve bumped up ticket prices or treat our away support with contempt.

Maybe it’s all of these things. . . but today. . . today is different my fellow hammer, because today is the day that you can make a difference.

Today is the day that YOU have the opportunity to remind the blundering custodians of our great club who you are. . . and that you are not alone.

Today is the day that YOU once more can don the claret and blue with pride, and stand, side by side with your West Ham brothers and sisters, united against our greatest enemy.

Today is the day that I ask all of you to once more believe in what has always been OUR club.

Today is the day that I ask you to join us and rekindle the fires of the legendary support that our club is renowned for across the world.

This morning is YOUR chance to let this board know that enough is enough.

Hammers United is the tip of YOUR spear and today, we strike back our first blow in the direction of the board.

Today is the day that we, the voice and heart beat of West Ham, it’s loyal and long suffering support, start on the long journey to get our club back.

Today is the day when we call time, ten years on to the day almost since this board of false prophets breezed in with their marketing rhetoric and media spin.

Today is where we, West Ham United For Change take back what has always been ours.

I’m about to board my plane and will be at the protest at 1300hrs.

By train, plane, car, tube, bus or on foot, do not miss your chance to take back our club.

See you in Stratford.

As a near permanently absent fan - it's 15,000 mile round trip to a home game - I want to add my support to today's protest, and a word of advice

The last protests were pushed into an anonymous squabble by clever manipulation from the board, they have tried a similar approach with a media onslaught this week, so far the media haven't fallen for it.

West Ham board makes fans look silly again doesn't make for click-bait headlines, however fans stand together and demand to be heard now that resonates with all fans off every club ...

The press will be there in force, they're scum and will look for the biggest loudmouth spouting the most stupidity, make sure everyone is on message - we are West Ham we want what's best for our forebears, the current fans, and those yet to come, we simply want to be heard.

Good luck to everyone today - COYI

Club not Brand.

It's West Ham United Football Club, not an offshoot of some leisurewear manufacturer.

Supporters are supposed to be at the heart of a club, without supporters clubs are nothing.

So remember today this Club has a Board of Directors that conveniently tried to forget a 20% discount scheme that the club had promised supporters if they bought a ST for five consecutive years. The shakedown could have cost supporters £1.6m

Also remember today we have owners who are charging the club huge interest fees on loans they have made the club rather than putting in a genuine equity injection. In the past 3 years nearly £20m has been paid out to Mr Gold and Mr Sullivan in interest.

But we can't afford a proper back up striker.Or Goalkeeper, f*** or midfielder. And it's a quarter of an Orange at half time lads, not a half of one.

Remember too the speed with which the Board sold our real home to ensure there was no way back, and the knockdown price they sold it for. Ask yourself how a property company resold the site just 24 hours after our Directors had sold it and made a profit of £20m.Nice work if you can get it.

Does it sound like our Board of Directors are good custodians of West Ham United Football club ? Does it sound to you if they have the best interests of the club and it's supporters at heart ?

If not, then show your displeasure with the Board by turning up today. This is a peaceful, static protest so supporters voices can be heard, the legitimate voice of West Ham United.

Quite simply our own clubs Directors have abused our supporters with their gerrymandered surveys their false claims on waiting lists, their broken promises, with untruth after untruth, even as recently as this week.

World class stadium with a world class team, my left eye.

But remember it need not be this way forever, most of us were supporting the club long before the Gold Brothers and Mr Sullivan bought Birmingham City for a knock down £700,000, by answering an advertisement in the Financial Times. In truth that money represents the only new capital they have ever invested in football, since then they have merely recycled their profits from that investment.

But they eventually sold that club when they realised the supporters of Birmingham City had enough of the deceit and spin, and we need to let them know that our supporters believe that enough is enough as far as we are concerned as well.

So, Mr Sullivan and Mr Gold, do yourselves and us a favour , stick an Ad in the FT, putting the club up for sale at a fair and reasonable price.

You've had 10 years, it's long enough, when you bought us we were at the wrong end of the table, and here we are a decade later, at the wrong end of the table, but in a terrible stadium.

So, how much is a fair and reasonable price ? Forget fairytale numbers of £650m and bidders like Red Bull.

Homeless, poorly performing squad that reflects the inappropriate investment in the team and infrastructure, and a disgruntled supporter base.

I'd suggest £200m top whack as fair and reasonable, which would represent an enormous return on investment for the shareholders, but if it's less so be it, but in the name of God, just go.

Just go. For you the VAR is over.

I am in full support of the protest. Can’t attend because I’m in Copenhagen.

Just please don’t do anything stupid that puts the media against us...

See you in Stratford.
I have to commend you on that rallying cry, Tross. I wouldn't know you if I tripped over you in the street, but that is a call to arms to end all calls to arms, of Shakespearian proportions. I would say it even rivals Sir Winston Churchill's "Well fight you on the beaches, we''ll fight you streets, we shall never surrender" Great post mate  :crest:

Will there be footage to watch on the KUMB Twitter feed? Or elsewhere?

and all who are going today~ Wish I could be there too, but I will be there in spirit, Think of this as you enter the fray:-

This should do the trick

Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more;
Or close the wall up with our English dead.
In peace there's nothing so becomes a man
As modest stillness and humility:
But when the blast of war blows in our ears,
Then imitate the action of the tiger;
Stiffen the sinews, summon up the blood,
Disguise fair nature with hard-favour'd rage;
Then lend the eye a terrible aspect;
Let pry through the portage of the head
Like the brass cannon; let the brow o'erwhelm it
As fearfully as doth a galled rock
O'erhang and jutty his confounded base,
Swill'd with the wild and wasteful ocean.
Now set the teeth and stretch the nostril wide,
Hold hard the breath and bend up every spirit
To his full height. On, on, you noblest English.
Whose blood is fet from fathers of war-proof!
Fathers that, like so many Alexanders,
Have in these parts from morn till even fought
And sheathed their swords for lack of argument:
Dishonour not your mothers; now attest
That those whom you call'd fathers did beget you.
Be copy now to men of grosser blood,
And teach them how to war. And you, good yeoman,
Whose limbs were made in England, show us here
The mettle of your pasture; let us swear
That you are worth your breeding; which I doubt not;
For there is none of you so mean and base,
That hath not noble lustre in your eyes.
I see you stand like greyhounds in the slips,
Straining upon the start. The game's afoot:
Follow your spirit, and upon this charge
Cry 'God for Marlow Vaderman, Tross, Northbank Alliance, Watford Hammer and Hammers United

One of the best post's ever on KUMB by Welling:

I Am Still The Same Football Club

Hello, remember me? Some people call me The Irons,
others call me The Hammers;
My proper title is West Ham United Football Club.
But whatever they call me,
I am your Club, or as I proudly state
....the Greatest Football Club in the world.

There is something that has been bothering me,
so I thought I might talk it over with you....
because it's about you and me.
I remember some time ago, It was back in May 1980,
people were lined up on both sides of the street to watch the parade.
The local band was behind me,
and naturally, I was leading the parade.

When your Father saw me holding the Trophy aloft,
he removed his Claret & Blue hat and placed it against his left shoulder
so that his right hand was directly over his heart. Remember?
And you, Yes, I remember you.
Standing there straight as a soldier decked out in Claret & Blue.
You didn't have a hat, but you were cheering and waving a flag.
Remember little sister? Not to be outdone,
she was waving and cheering the same as you.

Oh, I was very proud as I came down that street.
There were some soldiers home on leave
and they were standing at attention giving their military salute.
Also, war veterans with their caps at jaunty angles were
cheering and clapping.
Ladies as well as men, paid me the reverence I deserve.
Now, I may sound a little conceited.
Well, I am. I have a right to be,
because I am the Greatest Football Club in the world...
West Ham United Football Club.

Other Football Clubs have tried to haul me down,
but they all felt the fury of this Unique Club and its fans.
Remember...many of you had to go overseas to support me.
What has happened? I'm still the same old Club.
Oh, I've had more ups and downs since you were a boy.
A lot more tears have been shed since that fine day in 1980.

Harry is gone now, The home ground has a new look.
The last time I came down the street holding a trophy aloft,
I saw that some of the old faces were gone,
but in their place, shinning majestically in the sun,
were a number of new faces, both young and old, male and female.
Yes sir, the old Boleyn ground has changed.

But now....I still feel as proud as I used to
Some people don't seem to know who I am now.
I saw an old man take his hat off, and then look around.
He didn't see anybody else with theirs off,
so he quickly put his back on.
Is it a sin to support West Ham now?
Have you forgotten what we stand for?

Well, it won't be long until I come down your street again.
So when you see me, stand straight,
place your hand over your heart,
and you'll see me waving back.
My salute to you, I'll show you that I too, remember!
Long live this great game, Long live West Ham.
United we stand, Divided we fall.

West Ham Forever!

UNITED WE STAND,DIVIDED WE FALL.

I wish you ALL the best of luck today. I had planned on going, but left the decision until the last minute, as in, today, but I am almost totally unable to walk due to post-treatment issues.

I will be there in spirit, and will be following Social Media, KUMB and elsewhere for updates. Rattle them, put it on them, because we wan''t our club back and these three gone.

Just keep it classy, keep the moral high ground and those three will soon have nowhere to hide. It feels like the net is closing on them, from the fan base to the media.

They've been sussed. Hopefully today can be the beginning of the end.
