Box of crisps, packet of maltesers and a tenner. Wilson looks shot presently, saying that, most, if not all of their players look shot. Out of all of us, including Norwich, Bournemouth appear to be in the biggest hole today.keithwright1977 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 12:42 pm We were being quoted £60m for Callum Wilson in the summer, I wonder how much they would accept now?

Sully loves a big name signing, it does his fragile ego no end of good.Faithless wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 10:00 am Considering all this "experience" Sully has in running football clubs he makes the most pathetic decisions. Everyone knows a DOF is supposed to be independent of the Manager not his best mate.
I'd take the report's with a pinch of salt though Sully has a habit of covering his backside through his preferred sources. Hire one guy, leak he preferred another, if it all goes well deny the leak if it all goes badly blame the guy he hired and let the leak stand as proof it wasn't his fault despite it being his decision.
Pellegrinj had Sully over a barrel, insisting on bringing his own DOF for a bit of a jolly as part of the deal.
He really is a poor negotiator and because of this recruitment has been poor.
I just read an article where Sullivan is blaming Steve Bruce for buying rubbish players and it eventually led to Birminghams relegation.
Nothing changes, he never puts his head above the parapet to claim responsibility for anything.

Wasn’t really that good at Spurs, was he.
Also, don’t think he’s in the Algeria set-up anymore.
Still, we desperately need a player in that position.

Did alright at Spurs and at a young age. A good spell at Schalke before a fall out. Would start for us.

Newcastle sound likely to have added Bentaleb and Lazaro by this weekend. They've got plenty of injuries so can't afford to fanny about.

You just know Allen will wipe out Grady and end both their seasons.

To be fair if Allen does want to sign for us he's probably going to need to be carrying an injury to be consideredJohnny Byrne's Boots wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 2:04 pm You just know Allen will wipe out Grady and end both their seasons.

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
I don't think we'll be signing anyone else, so there's no time pressure on us.
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Zaba had an blinding game for us on Sat so I reckon they’ve cooled any interest in a right back.
Ajeti even featured, they’ve probably told Moyes to make the most of what he’s got. The thing is, we’re only a Haller or a Rice injury away from a crisis.

Fredericks is apparently expected back sooner than we thought also.

Bentaleb would get in the current Spurs midfield no problem. His attitude is the only thing that has held him back, very excited to see him in the premiership again.

Got a lot of ability for sure. Does this mean Hayden will be available again? (aaah! wish I hadn't said that...)

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
How come Ashley, who is also notoriously a tight arse, has suddenly, out of nowhere, got a few bob in his pocket, yet Gold and Sullivan are still paupers ?
