Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
So Sullivan makes a bid for a young Argentinian RB that has just broken into the national team and makes a loan offer of less than a month of Hernandez former salary with an option to pay less than half River Plate's valuation at the end of the season,if he's any good!!
He still thinks he can save money and stay up!!
If the player in question is any good, what better selling point would be to come to Europe and settle in under a player and compatriot he would, probably, dream of aspiring to??

This is the stage we are at now, they link us with a top player to fool us and all the time they are scouring the lower ends of European divisions for hit and hopers. Things are really really wrong

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
with foyth and levy wanting out i am surprised we haven't gone for argentinas starting rb who is a natural cb... kill two birds with one stone, young, athletic and tall, very technical... for an asking price of 15m.. sounds like a no brainer for a team like us who have deficits in rb and cb (in a 3)ashbanki wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:02 am So Sullivan makes a bid for a young Argentinian RB that has just broken into the national team and makes a loan offer of less than a month of Hernandez former salary with an option to pay less than half River Plate's valuation at the end of the season,if he's any good!!

still tho.. you'd think a dm/cm would be more pressing at this stage and there is nothing happening there... so i guess it's not that surprising

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Yeah I got to agree with that. I think Balbuena and Fornals will stay for one season.SammyLeeWasOffside wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:13 am Not much chance that Fabianski stays if we go down imo
Also we will only get 20 million apiece for Diop, Anderson, and Haller imo. Quite depressing really.
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
iirc we were linked with both bony and arfa at the start of the season, if there was any truth to it pellegrini would of shot sulli down with those :lol:kev wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:15 am Wonder how many we've contacted

gaiten just released.. has he lost his pace? was excellent a couple of years ago.. not that we need more attacking midfielders
there is nothing we need on that list unfortunately

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Bony and Ben Arfa must be on our radar too, and anyone else we have been previously linked to.
Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
clubs will offer low prices if they think the selling club has to sell.. if the clauses are truth then financially that wont be the case.. so the cut relegation prices for our players is pretty unlikely imoEastBrisHammer wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:27 am Yeah I got to agree with that. Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
probably what moyes meant by saying only interested in players that will improve the first team... sulli has been in his ear about bony and arfa since decemeber :lol:EastBrisHammer wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:29 am Bony and Ben Arfa must be on our radar too, and anyone else we have been previously linked to.

We’ve been linked to Ryan Fraser, I think he would be a good fit for us but with his contract running out in the summer Sullivan will think he’s got the upper hand and before you know it he would have signed for someone else

Is this a reference to the punts otherwise known as ‘Sulli Specials’?

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
It used to be so easy to sell the club to players, we had a nice compact atmospheric stadium, the best supporters, we wanted to play good football, we were ambitious (but not insanely) and were a family club that cared about everyone involved, but now only one thing matters and that is money, unfortunately the obsession with money at the top is threatening to send us back to the dark ages.

Jordan Rhodes. A transfer window is not a transfer window without his name getting a mention

Re: The January Transfer Window 2020
Whilst I actually really like Fraser as a player, we haven't got a hope in hell of getting him out of Bournemouth given we're direct rivals down at the bottom.keithwright1977 wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2020 10:41 am We’ve been linked to Ryan Fraser, I think he would be a good fit for us but with his contract running out in the summer Sullivan will think he’s got the upper hand and before you know it he would have signed for someone else
