Summer Holidays
Now that the vaccines here & things will get back to normal ( ) where are you going for your summer holidays?
I have a trip to Puerto Vallarta in August - which I've already postponed twice but will try to sneak in ten days in England & Spain in May. Say hello to family, do my usual routine of full English for breakfast, pies for lunch & curry for dinner

Re: Summer Holidays
We've got 7 nights on a holiday park in Pembrokeshire Coast National park booked for the end of July. No idea if we're going to make it, Covid wise or my health wise.
Hopefully we can, because it's a most beautiful part of the world.

Re: Summer Holidays
Two weeks in what looks like a lovely villa just outside Albufeira at the end of August. The lockdowns, stress from a building project, health issues with my in laws and assorted other **** have taken their toll so I don’t mind admitting I’ll be crushed if we don’t get to go.

Re: Summer Holidays
Usually have a few days in lake district at this time of year.
Supposed to be going to France for a week end of june with my eldest lad and his family, he's booked a house with a swimming pool and a fishing lake. Then Greece for few days almost straight after we come back not booked yet though. Can't see either happening..
Got flights to Athens booked in september, not overly confident about that if I'm honest.

Re: Summer Holidays
Had a 3 month sabbatical planned for South America last summer and obviously we postponed it until this coming summer ... but not sure it’ll even happen then. Nothing planned yet aside from a trip to The Isle of Man in July for one of my nephews wedding.

Re: Summer Holidays
We have two weeks in a Villa in a Mar Menor golf resort booked for September.
Hopefully before then we will be able to get away in our motorhome, I have Euro tunnel booked for the last week of June and first week of July with the hope of taking the Motorhome to France then. We don't have any campsites booked yet.

Re: Summer Holidays
All being well we will do a week in Crete late May and another in September/October. We went for a week early last October, very last minute and obviously pretty quiet out there with a midnight curfew too, but it was needed after the year we had and was great to get away.
The Greeks have managed the whole Covid thing pretty well, so it was madness to have to quarantine on return from an island that had pretty much zero cases into a country where the virus was by then starting to run wild.
What part of the island are you heading to ?

Re: Summer Holidays
Is it Caer Fai, out of interest, just to the outskirts of St. David's?
If it isn't and you're mobile, a day down there is definitely recommended.

Re: Summer Holidays
I thought it was just me on Cancun, everyone else I know loves it!
My eldest has a milestone birthday this year, so took the plunge at the weekend and booked one of those exec thingys at CP for 4 days in June (6 of us going), took out every bit of Insurance as who knows - I'm 99% sure though we should be good for that lil break at least.
We haven't booked anything abroad yet, just playing the waiting game. Usually by now we have booked a few holidays/breaks as something to look forward to to get us through dark & miserable Jan/Feb. I have everything crossed we can all jump on a jet plane (if that's your thing for holidays) this year and get some beach/sea/sun holidays in.
