What are you drinking for the game?
Beers? Cup of tea? Vino? Something Stronger?
Normally an IPA man, I can’t justify drinking that stuff all day. My drinking pace reaches rocket speed when watching West Ham/England, so I’m sticking to lager so I don’t get completely tanked...

Purchased 18 cans of Budvar (Tesco sell 6 x 330ml for £5.50)
Bought a bottle of Moet Chandon to be opened if we lift the trophy, fingers crossed it's in the bottle bin by this time on Monday

Re: What are you drinking for the game?
For the Denmark game I had 2 cans of German pilsner from Aldi/Lidl left over and bought some Holsten Pils, not realising they were brewed by Carlsberg these days
As such for tomorrow I will have some leftover German pilsner and some Carlsberg brewed beer (export as they ran out of Holsten) out of superstition

I've got a Budvar Dark and an Augustiener left from the other night. Think I might then stick with Guiness and a few JDs if we win.

I also normally go for pretty strong IPAs. There's over 150 breweries in San Diego county so they're everywhere.Ludeksgloves wrote: ↑Sat Jul 10, 2021 12:14 pm Beers? Cup of tea? Vino? Something Stronger?

But the game is at noon for me. I've got to call in sick too. I'm still debating whether to drink lager or just try to pace myself during the game. I suppose it'll all depend on how busy whatever pub/bar I end up at.
I was going to go to a place called Brazil by the Bay but seeing as they lost that might be a bad omen

A bottle of Pinot Grigio, followed by a few Laphroaig single malt chasers.

Re: What are you drinking for the game?
My local pubs choice has been Amstel, paradigm (locally brewed bitter) or Guinness. I’ve not tried the Guinness as yet and have been battered every game so far. Not sure what to go for later. But I will be battered.

Re: What are you drinking for the game?
Birra moretti 3 for a £ 5 in tesco great value
Peroni same deal as above
1 bottle of chianti
1 bottle pinot grigio
Topped off with a couple of Aperol spritz ( for the mrs)
Pizza for tea
And my wife's personal favourite Tiramasu.
It's an italian themed night for us.
And the sooner I can book my next italian holiday the better. I absolutely love the country.
As for the football
