Do they really still do the 'ooohhhhhhhh.... you're ****, ahhhhhhh' thing when the opposition GK takes a kick?

Only 35 years behind in Reading... improvements have been made then!!!

Antonio mate you might consider just shaving that bonnet. Yeesh. Starting to look like Doc Brown from Back to the Future.

It does look better with the white shorts, would look even better with white socks as well.

Coventry has looked more comfortable in this game, he's shown a bit more physicality.

Bowens looked lively, Fornals has been ok considering its his first game back, Dawsons been his usual self. Diops been mainly OK. Oko-Flex sometimes looks ok but needs to improve his final ball. Fredericks not been very good. Antonio just looks like a big lump. He no longer looks very fast and its quite hard to imagine him now as a winger. Still strong and dangerous in the box though.

Coventry looks like he may get a bit more gametime this year. Got stuck in and was comfortable on the ball not too many stray passes.
Fredericks fast but very wasteful, Formals and Bowen look really lively

Agree Coventry ran sections of that half. Showing potential. One swallow doesn’t make….but he’s the same age as Mr Rice so time to deliver.

Bennie looking lovely.

*I typed “lively”, but with his new hair he deserves both plaudits.

Yeah, looks like Rice's Euro adventure may have given Coventry a bit more pre season gametime hopefully he can progress this year with a bit more opportunity

All 3 of our youth players combining there!
