Not a ground we traditionally do well at but in recent years we’ve had some wins up there. Everton are going well but there’s no reason we can’t get a result. I just hope we don’t look as jaded as we did after the last international break ( v Southampton). Pretty much a fully fit squad if Fredericks is back.

Re: Everton vs West Ham Utd: Match Thread (17-10-2021)
It’s early days yet, but IMO Everton look a lot more of a tougher cookie under Benitez than they did under Ancelotti. Let’s just say I couldn’t imagine them losing to dross like Sheffield Utd under Benitez in the League like the inconsistent Everton would’ve done last season. They look a lot more solid defensively and certainly have plenty of goals in them.
If we don’t buck our ideas up defensively and are not ruthless with our chances I can’t see anything other than a defeat here.
As long as we lose no other players to injuries I’d be making a few changes to the starting 11 for this one.

I haven’t really paid much attention to them this season, but my guy says we’ll sneak a 1-0 win. Soucek or Bowen to score.

Diop, Zouma and Areola are the three key players to the rest of the season in the Premier league. It's the triangle of communication and control between the three if them.

(I do realize it was a typo!!)
I'm usually glass half full, but can't see past a loss unfortunately.

Everton are doing well. Andros Townshend is looking good for them. Not a ground we do well on much, although didn't we win up there last season?

A draw or another narrow loss for me. As others have said, Everton are a different animal now under Benitez who I think is a fantastic manager.

And 2018, so we’ve won 3 times in our last 6 league visits to Goodison. Not as daunting as it once was for us.

Always like this game, old school ground, nice walk to the stadium from the leisure centre I usually park at with an old school feel
Saying that would take a draw now tbf

Overall record is 73 losses, 41 wins, 31 draws.
Since our last promotion it's 12 losses, 4 wins, 3 draws but we have won 2 of our last 4 up there.
Everton drew with Man U, beat Brighton in Brighton but got spanked by Villa.
I haven't watched them but it seems their best players this season are wingers so not sure if we'll go head to head in that respect.
