Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note/login issues
Following the recent server migration, some users may see a repeating privacy notice or the following error message when attempting to log on:
This is an issue caused by out of date bookmarks and/or your browser/s cache.
In order to fix the problem:
1. Please ensure you log in via https and NOT http. Use this link: https://www.kumb.com/forum/
2. If that doesn't work, clear your browser's cache and delete any cookies relating to KUMB.com.
3. Restart your browser, logging in via https NOT http: https://www.kumb.com/forum/
4. Ensure you update all KUMB bookmarks to point to https, NOT http.
5. This should fix the problem. If you have followed these instructions and it hasn't, please let us know by replying to this thread.
UPDATE (3/1/22):
We are aware of a new issue that has emerged for some members relating to logins and being signed out of your account unexpectedly. Please note we are currently investigating this.
UPDATE (7/1/22):
I know it's a pain, but we've made changes to the way cookies are set as we continue to try to resolve this issue.
So can you please, once again, clear your browser's cache and restart (as we need to ensure your browser has the correct cookie set). As always, please let me know how it goes.
UPDATE (8/1/22):
Yesterdays changes appear to have helped some users but certainly not all, so the hunt continues for a full fix.
With this in mind, I've enlisted the assistance of some phpbb (forum software) experts to help find a solution.
UPDATE (9/1/22):
IF you're able to log in, please respond to this question:

UPDATE (10/1/22):
Our dev team have made further back end changes and removed ads on log in/register pages, which we suspect may have been causing problems. To check whether this amendment/update is working for you, I'm afraid you will need to clear your browser's cache/s (and cookies) once again and restart it.
Once again, my apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.
UPDATE (11/1/22):
We have created a test forum in order to determine whether the issue are server or forum related, which we're currently putting through its paces.
UPDATE (12/1/22):
I'm pleased to learn the latest revision has resolved the issue for many of our members, but we're still looking at providing a full solution as there is still an issue there.
UPDATE (19/1/22):
Following further tweaks, I believe the issue has now been resolved. If anyone is still experiencing issues, please ensure you clear you browser's cache and cookies before posting a report.

Re: "Invalid form" error message
I had this a couple of days ago (Firefox 93.0) but it fixed itself within half an hour. Weird.

Re: "Invalid form" error message
I get this message fairly frequently when I’m trying to log on, especially before games and around 9am, presumably under heavy logon load.

This should not be happening now. I'll send back to our support team.DasNutNock2 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 28, 2021 9:33 amI get this message fairly frequently when I’m trying to log on.
One thing I can confirm however is that this (heavy load) is no longer an issue - as anyone using the forum during the latest two or three matches should be able to attest.

Re: "Invalid form" error message
I did mention this in another thread... probably would have been better in this one
I've had it log me out at least 3 times today, and then can't log back in. Just now I managed to get back in on the second attempt.

Re: "Invalid form" error message
Been having problems logging in all week, but even when I have been successful I get error messages when I try to post a comment. Managed to post a message just now in the General Discussion, so hoping there won't be so much hassle in future

Re: "Invalid form" error message
I’m struggling with this on my iPhone. Tried resetting password and now am in a bit of a confused mess! iPad is fine (hence why I can post this) but think I’ve been logged in for a while but guess if I did and tried to login again I’d get same problem

Re: "Invalid form" error message
Have had the same error message when trying to Reply to a PM.
Saved the Draft, then logged out & logged back in again and it then seemed to work OK?

Re: "Invalid form" error message
I had the error when logging in on my Samsung tab (on Wednesday I think) no issues since then and I did login via edge on my laptop without a problem the same afternoon. Hope that helps.
Re: "Invalid form" error message
Just about to report that I had the problem on Wednesday and got the error message at 13.17 today when I tried to log in
Using Samsung internet browser
Incidently I never used to have to log in so much used to stay logged in for weeks at a time

I had this a few days ago. I stay logged in and wasn't one morning. Got the message and couldn't log in
Tried again a few hours later and it worked. I did initially wonder if someone had changed my password

Re: "Invalid form" error message
I had this 3 days ago, on PC (win 10), iPhone & iPad, all at the same time. But the issue cleared on all 3 devices about an hour later.

Re: "Invalid form" error message
Couldn't log in last night. Thought it was my password. Tried resetting but it didn't recognise my email. Left it a few hours and to worked. Was using Duck Duck Go on an Android phone.
