Those stats are absolutely incredible. We're the joint second highest scorers in the league this year. More than Chelsea. Joint second most wins. Third most points. 4th on GD.

Every stat, every way you look at it at the moment points to West Ham deservedly being one of the 4 best teams in the country.

This is Moyes' West Ham... as long as this management team are here I can see us going from strength to strength

This is an exciting but hugely important era for the club. Success breeds more success and it feels that this is where this is all going now...

Not only do we need to hang onto the Moyesiah, we need to make sure the backroom team stay with us as well. Nobby and Pyscho are vital.

Like most people I wasn't that impressed when we re-hired Moyes. But I also confess that I underestimated him at the beginning of this season too.
I assumed that we would struggle to build on last year's achievements despite some reasonable summer signings. I thought that the European games would distract us and that our form would wobble. There's still plenty of time for things to go wrong this season, but he's done an amazing job at actually improving us from last year. I'd love to know what his strategy is to keep up the assault on a CL place. Whatever it is, I hope he continues to get full backing.

A relatively popular argument against re-appointing him was 'Nobody wanted him after his first spell with us',.... Well thank f*** they didn't.

I never understood what he done wrong in his 1st spell OFT. He done the job he was brought in to do and achieved the objective that was set out to him. There was also early signs of the football we are playing now that appeared in the last game of his 1st season iirc. But the argument some had then was that our opponents were on the beach, it's like they wasn't willing to acknowledge the good job he had done :eh:
If only our owners hadn't bowed to pressure and stuck with him, we would be even further ahead in our progress right now.

I want to meet him, shake his hand and give him a massive bearhug. He's doing things I had totally given up on after over 40 years following.
It makes a difference to my life. :wolfy:

I don't think even IB could have foreseen just what a hand in glove fit David Moyes would be for us, and what a monumental success it would be.

Who would have thunk it?

I really think he's going to win something with us.

I didn't want him here either time, but I can hand on heart say, that he is without doubt, the best thing to happen to the football club, in my lifetime.

Never, ever been so happy to be wrong.
