I rescued them all bar one early doors and didn't get the 'proper' ending as a result.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Forza 5 is absolutely incredible, and not just as a technical achievement. Looks immense on my Series S & new telly.
As for Jastons, I think you've got a few months to wait before the new Gran Turismo is out. No doubt it'll look amazing, but that style of "simulation" race game just leaves me bored - I much prefer arcade racers (Out Run, Sega Rally, kart racing games etc).

Re: What are you playing right now?
PGR series were decent fun, and really showcased the power upgrade from the previous console iterations. Of all the consoles down the years, the X360 was arguably the biggest quantum increase in graphical fidelity, as well as having one of the longest lifespans. Compare Gears of War 3 on the X360 with Gears 5 on the XSX, for example - yes, the graphics are nicer and more colourful on the new machines, but the gameplay and action hasn't changed one bit.

I'm probably sounding like a company shill now, but if you can get a Xbox series S for £250, you can play Forza Horizon 5 now, as it's on gamepass. I've got a disk PS5 to play my old PS4 games (without the PS4 noise) and the download only Series S for the Forza games and a fair few others, and I play them equally.

Loved PGR. The first game I played online. Used to think I was quite good until then.

Wreckfest is a good fun - banger racing and demolition derby type events. Its very simple though so nothing more than a bit of mindless fun for an hour or two here and there.
It was free on Playstation Plus a few months ago so might be cheap to pick up now

Re: What are you playing right now?
Forza Horizon 5 is great. I haven't really gotten into previous entries, despite owning 2 and playing 4 on gamepass. 4 especially I thought I would love as it's based in a mashed up version of the UK, and I love cars but it didn't quite work for me.
I can't stop playing FH5. It looks great, there is a load to do which is interesting and varied, and it just strikes the right balance between arcadey and sim racing and it's just that bit more fun in a way I can't put my finger on. The AI also no longer seems to be driving on rails except on the very highest difficulties, which I'm not good enough for anyway.
I would also recommend Wreckfest highly to anyone, great fun. I have more hours in that game than any other. At my last check I had been on that for about 15 DAYS.

I’m not normally interested in driving games, but I’ve played this a fair amount. I prefer arcade and kart racers over sims.

Re: What are you playing right now?
FM22 on Xbox (I know…) and giving Battlefield 2042 a go on the 10 hour trial.
Battlefield is fun, but very buggy with graphics glitches all over the place. It needs some serious TLC before I’ll buy it. The bare bones for a really good shooter are there though.

Re: What are you playing right now?
Love FH5. FH4 is (was) my favourite game, and 5 is more of the same. Love the fact that if you've got other Xbox friends that play it, there's leaderboard of each story / speed zone / jump / drift zone.
My FH5 tips - you can take photos of cars by pushing up on the direction pad (there are bonuses or credits for taking photos of a certain number of cars), but if you do it on the start line of a race you can sometimes clear 5+ in one go
Should be obvious, but for the story "a to b" episodes, you don't need to follow the suggested route - just go overland as the crow flies as much as you can
And for group online events, if you see what the car requirement is, you can upgrade.it by purchasing a tuning set up - makes you a bit faster than some of your competitors

Re: What are you playing right now?
Forza is a bit special isn't it?
I'm blown away at just how good it looks in next gen.
Really enjoying it.
