I’m not sure they warrant an “even!”. Their first choice central defensive pairing is one of the worst in the league, and one of them is injured.

5th two years in a row and FA Cup winners last season? I think they deserve to be acknowledged as a team expected to be towards the top end of the table.LeonRivers wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 7:33 pmI’m not sure they warrant an “even!”. They seem to have massively regressed this season though, and their defence looks awful.

Re: Other Games November 20-25
Leicester were losing nearly one in three games in the two seasons they finished 5th. Very good at avoiding draws in that time which probably pushed them up a couple of places higher than teams that were actually harder to beat.

Payet hit by a bottle (again) taking a corner for Marseille.
If an English team did that…..

Every English team would be banned from European competition for at least 5 years.

Fair enough but a win and a loss gets more points than two draws.bubbles1966 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 8:40 pmLeicester were losing nearly one in three games in the two seasons they finished 5th. That pass to Sterling
That was some hit for Man City's second as well.
Conte celebrating like they'd won the Champions league. Acrylic haired twat.

Re: Other Games November 20-25
Leeds are in trouble. They do have players to come back, but to throw away a lead like they did Yesterday...Their defending was just all over the place. Spurs were poor, but were given so much space.
The annoying thing is all the Spurs fans who are championing Conte for banning ketchup and thinking there are massive improvements.

That fake Pardew-like jumping about Conte does is really irritating. I had actually forgotten how irritating it actually is.

Re: Other Games November 20-25
Injuries haven’t helped them, but teams also know to weather the storm for 60mins and then you can pick them off. It is regular enough now to refer to it as “doing a Leeds”.il_martello_di_genovesi wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 11:36 amLeeds are in trouble. That's not annoying, that's great news - let them think they've turned it around and are a massive team destined for greatness of the back of narrowly beating a **** Leeds team missing all of their best players.il_martello_di_genovesi wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 11:36 am

Re: Other Games November 20-25
I think Leeds will be ok if they can get their main players back.
If we had to play a team without Antonio, Bowen Benny, Creswell, Zouma with Rice at CB we'd struggle and we are a level or two above Leeds.
Tottenham looked terrible first half and a top half team would have made them pay, so I retain some hope that despite appointing one of the best managers in the world they might still be a bit crap for a while longer.

He did that, I am sure you remember, in that match when we played them and Ginge scored from a corner.Billydinho wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 11:40 amThat fake Pardew-like jumping about Conte does is really irritating. I had actually forgotten how irritating it actually is.
That thug Costa raked Adrians leg with his studs and not long later scored.
Conte celebrated for about half an hour afterwards.

Agreed. It’s actually pathetic. They’ll be doing the same to the next mug who takes the Man Utd job.
