He'll come back, but it ain't good news.
Firstly, he looks like a player who sustains injuries easily.
Secondly, an ACL issue on each knee could affect his athleticism, speed etc. For a player who relies on athleticism rather than having a high football IQ , this may be very bad news.

What I don't get (Although at West Ham I don't know why) but WHY, considering he had gone down struggling for the SECOND time in the second half, were the Physios getting him to walk, and then actually JOG without knowing the extent!!! Do they ever fffing learn? How much extra damage could he have done in doing so? Worse still, was there any history of problems that the medics failed to spot? I've liked Zouma and can't blame him re: wages and costs, but surely the medical/physios should know better, they're paid enough.

Hope to see him back soon, but fear it might be some time!

The medics aren't fortune tellers, it's a different knee to the one he injured years ago, it's just really bad luck.

I'm fairly certain the physios are lead by the players reactions and without some sort of mobile x ray unit I'm really not sure what else they could have done. They have to trust the player and trust the player knows his body. Take Stuart Pearce for example - he'd have tried to play on if he was missing a leg.

Or one final big pay day, on probably longer contract than you deserve, or finish your career at a club who have a chance to compete in everything.

The problem is: he’s been on sh*& money all his previous playing career.

2012 - Knee injury over 3 months rehabilitation.
2014 - Knee injury 2 months rehabilitation.
2016 - Knee injury 10 months rehabilitation.
2021 - Knee injury ???? rehabilitation.

I'd say that is an issue with his knees.

I completely ruptured my hamstring back in 2013. Had to have it re-attached.
i couldn't do much for about 6 months
My surgeon had done the same op on various footballers, including Jan Vertonghen, and their recovery time was around the same

Back for the business end of the season and European football in March. Could have been worse.
