It seems to have really affected Callum Wilson.

2 injuries in 4 years. "Sustains injuries easily."Turtlecharityracer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 11:40 pm He'll come back, but it ain't good news.
Firstly, he looks like a player who sustains injuries easily.
Secondly, an ACL issue on each knee could affect his athleticism, speed etc. For a player who relies on athleticism rather than having a high football IQ , this may be very bad news.
It seems to have really affected Callum Wilson.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
The medics aren't fortune tellers, it's a different knee to the one he injured years ago, it's just really bad luck.Hermit_Road wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 12:07 am What I don't get (Although at West Ham I don't know why) but WHY, considering he had gone down struggling for the SECOND time in the second half, were the Physios getting him to walk, and then actually JOG without knowing the extent!!! Do they ever fffing learn? How much extra damage could he have done in doing so? Worse still, was there any history of problems that the medics failed to spot? I've liked Zouma and can't blame him re: wages and costs, but surely the medical/physios should know better, they're paid enough.
Hope to see him back soon, but fear it might be some time!
Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Id take that. Not just because he will be back sooner just the long term affects of ACL Injury

Has this someone got a name? Unless it’s Mr. Wendell who gets everything right, I’ll take it with a large pinch of salt. I sadly think Chalks will be more accurate.

I'm fairly certain the physios are lead by the players reactions and without some sort of mobile x ray unit I'm really not sure what else they could have done. They have to trust the player and trust the player knows his body. Take Stuart Pearce for example - he'd have tried to play on if he was missing a leg.

Or one final big pay day, on probably longer contract than you deserve, or finish your career at a club who have a chance to compete in everything.hammerman11 wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 9:49 am 8 weeks yes please . pray for zouma !

The problem is: he’s been on sh*& money all his previous playing career.
Hope you are right though.

2012 - Knee injury over 3 months rehabilitation.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 8:07 am 2 injuries in 4 years. "Sustains injuries easily."
It seems to have really affected Callum Wilson.
2014 - Knee injury 2 months rehabilitation.
2016 - Knee injury 10 months rehabilitation.
2021 - Knee injury ???? rehabilitation.
I'd say that is an issue with his knees.

The quote attributed to WHUFC is as follows:
As per JS, too."West Ham United can confirm that Kurt Zouma sustained a hamstring tendon injury during Saturday’s Premier League victory against Chelsea."

How long roughly can that take to recover from? Very strange neither the club or any of the media have put a likely return date down.

That’s still going to be a big chunk of the business end of our season. Real shame - get better and get back soon Zouma.

Does that mean not a season-ender?
Indestructible blokes like myself who don't have the experience of leg injuries need to know.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
Would depend on the grading
Minor could be as little as 4-6 weeks
Major as many as 3 months, up to 6 if it requires surgery.

Re: ✍ Kurt Zouma
I completely ruptured my hamstring back in 2013. Had to have it re-attached.
i couldn't do much for about 6 months
My surgeon had done the same op on various footballers, including Jan Vertonghen, and their recovery time was around the same
Tbf that was at the very serious end of the scale though
