Would you rather be the star attraction at a big club like West Ham (we are actually massive)

Or would you rather be another big name playing for Top 4 team. And probably be rotated on a regular basis.

It's a dilemma that Declan will have to face in the coming months.
It will be a killer for us if he leaves.
I'm convinced we are now watching a west ham team
that will only get better if we stick with the set up we currently have.

His only consideration is going to be the likelihood of winning trophies and regular champions league football, the bloke is getting to world class levels, what a talent he is

Given how grounded he comes across, I imagine that's the way he sees it, and as long as we stay massive, I reckon he'll stay.

If he wins something here, it'll be that much sweeter than a City or a Man U trophy, because he'll know how much he earned it. Rose through the ranks, captain at 21, and has put this team on his back and carried us there.

He'd be second in the queue for lifting any trophies, and I think he'd happily accept that too. If we got to any finals and we were winning with 30 seconds of added time to go, it would be a travesty if Nobes wasn't brought on so he could do the honours - and like I said, I can't see Declan having any issues with that whatsoever.

I think I'd probably cry too

Sunday morning idle speculation, whilst watching the game again on BT Sport. Wondering if there is anything he can't do

He's big, he's strong, he can dribble, good at heading, strikes the ball beautifully and is two footed.

How do you think he would do playing as a 9?

Only saw the second half but he was the best player on the pitch (yet again) by a country mile.

He's leaving us behind at present, whilst we haven't been bad by any means, he just continues to grow, almost on a game by game basis, it's quite remarkable to watch.

Unbelievable player.

The best midfielder in the world. Genuinely. No other player on the planet can do what he does. Outrageously good footballer.

He was sublime today. Got absolutely everywhere and his driving runs from midfield had Burnley at sixes and sevens time and again. He was so close to winning it with that driving shot that just clipped the bar too.

Getting better with every game at the moment.

The players we have need to sharpen up and we need to add some quality in January.

It’s getting a bit too noticeable how much better he is than the rest of the team.

He has to be given the England armband. He is absolutely the best English player in the league right now.

No West Ham player will ever do that.
