Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now
A misprint caused Burn to be listed as "Bone" on some early live bootleg releases (of which there were many, of course):
https://www.discogs.com/fr/release/1397 ... rixton-Ace
Two tracks are misspelled on the copy sheet:
Burn is incorrectly listed as "Bone".
Jolene is misspelled "Solene".
WHUI's tape must've fallen foul of a similar issue.
I bloody love Burn. One of my all-time favourite Sisters numbers. I adore all incarnations of The Sisters of Mercy but, for me, that early, pre-First and Last and Always iteration of the band was the best. They were so cool. So cold.

Low are ace. I love Things We Lost in the Fire.
I have been enjoying this of late. A band that were really good but probably got undone by the timing of Britpop. See also: Longpigs, The.

I'm a little perplexed by this. Pharaoh Sanders is a giant. The LSO are, well, they're the LSO aren't they.szola wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 12:30 pm Another 2021 gem

How did Floating Points get the profile (not to mention the budget) to record something with them? He's not that big of a deal is he? Or am I showing my ignorance?

Re: What Are You Listening To Right Now
I don't have an answer to that question.
It is in fact one of the few albums I have however bought this year.
Definitely worth a listen, even if, dare I say it, there is little of any novelty in it.

Funny, was just listening to Siamese Dream earlier.
Every bit as gorgeously good as I remembered. Mayonnaise = Masterpiece.
