Another problem is, the match is tomorrow. More covid tests tonight or tomorrow and that could be more out.
when i say fit i dont mean covid i mean injured.
I don see it matters really, will find out when the teams are announced

Areola
Johnson Dawson diop Cresswell
Rice soucek fornals
Bowen Antonio vlasic

Subs Randolph Ashby alese longello masuaka noble kral
Benrahma lanzini

Tough match but think we may scrap through
Coufal is fine to play tomorrow isn't he? It's a Premier League ban, so he'll miss Southampton.

There's nothing I like more than winning the Cup Final against Spurs. (That's for all the Spurs fans reading, of course its not a Cup Final, its just an ordinary game for us).

Whoever wins 3 matches in a row really wins the Cup, looking forwards to this one.

It's back to a 2 leg semi final (WC 3rd and 10th of Jan)
So might need 3 wins and a draw)

Sounds like a right bundle of laughs.

I know loads of people not now going. Reckon there will be loads of empties and/or last minute swapping of tickets meaning the COVID questionnaires are largely irrelevant.

As someone said, if it was a work risk assessment, it's a no brainer.

Farce.

FWIW there were zero Covid checks at Arsenal away. Long queues for their turnstiles but mine was literally straight into a rammed concourse etc, so perhaps there won't be any tomorrow. Sounds like pretty standard stuff that WHUST article.

Looking forward to a night on the sofa and fingers crossed we hammer them COYI >

That long old walk from Seven Sisters should feature in the Twin Towns thread in the Snug.

...twinned with Chernobyl.

Sports Mole's predicted XI: Areola; Ashby, Dawson, Diop, Masuaku; Kral, Noble; Vlasic, Lanzini, Fornals; Yarmolenko

Surely Moyes won't be sticking with the reserve team.

I think both sides will put out their strongest available teams as it is their best chance of winning a trophy this season. Just 2 rounds to get through and it's a date with Wembley

In terms of form, Spurs are on the up and ours has dipped significantly.

But we have a sign over Spurs at the moment, which will sow some doubt in their minds and should give our lads a lift. I can see us nicking it by a goal or on penalties.

If we do get through I think a single semi final leg would favour us, so hopefully they make the sensible decision to scrap the first leg of the semi.

Didn't realise that was on the cards. Surely that would need to be decided tomorrow before the draw.
But yes would prefer 1 game even if it was away instead of 2.

Probably very. sold my ticket as I was disgusted with the behaviour at Arsenal that I saw anyway and seen similar posts echoing that sentiment on here. With 2x more of ours, League Cup being easier to get tickets than that game for both sides and the fact it's them, it'll be rather tasty yes. Fingers crossed you aren't too close to the segregation lines and take care.
