He put in our best cross of the game shortly after Antonio scored but Antonio missed a free header from.about 8 yards.

Dawson actually seems more dangerous in the air than Soucek, which is quite a feat.

We've scored two. That should be enough for one point at least, probably three.

The fault for the result ultimately sits at the other end of the pitch.

Could argue we were going through the motions getting behind the ball for the first, while the third was a set play, but Ward-Prowse's delivery is as good as anybody's at that type of thing.

The second goal is the shocker. Broja was allowed to do what Antonio does. How far did he run with the ball before eventually being taken out?

I know you have a peculiar love for Arthur but it is about more than just he made 2 good crosses so everything else can be forgiven. This is not the 60’s when some fancy Dan could do 2 good things a game and nothing else mattered.

It is not the 2 good crosses but how many poor ones, how often did he fail to release the ball, how often did he lose possession, how often did he leave gaps defensively. For me on all those tests he was way worse than an admittedly underperforming Coufal.

We looked a team when we attacked/defended down the right, we never did down the left. That might be in part because Arthur had the misfortune to play outside Diop but at the end of the day that side (as with Spurs last week) was the greatest contributor to our defeat in my opinion.

Had we had Ogbonna and Cresswell I do not see us losing that game everything else being the same performance wise from the others.

I don't see anything wrong with Crouchend Hammer's post. With some posters it's player X and player Y every bloody week yet tumbleweed when it comes to the equally poor performances of other players. You will see they trot out mitigation for the errors of those other players but naturally do no such things for their targets. Play ground stuff

Diop is absolutely shocking . I can see Moyes putting Declan alongside Dawson until we bring in a couple of defenders in January . And Our summer transfer business was terrible apart from zouma and it's caught up with us big time .

Third goal is a shocking free kick to give away because Soucek lets a player half hsi size bully him. From my seat I couldn't see who was supposed to be marking Bednarek so can't comment on that

Arthur instead of Johnson with the entirely lacklustre Diop and the speed of Dawson against a team who are ok on turn is criminal.

You are very negative Garry. This is the West Ham I have come to love over the last 43 years. I was a bit uncomfortable last year. Have a beer, go for a walk what ever chills you out.

The squad is knackered GSB are at fault and I am amazed the easy ride they are getting. If we had a decent squad to fight on 4 fronts (now three) then I have faith Moyes would have given them a decent go, now we have not much more than an 11 we have to flog to death and then people on here moan when they don't play their best time after time.
