Ok that is it, sell Diop and Arthur immediately. God damn they can turn a potential comfortable 4 or 5 nil win in to a draw or loss.

Seriously any CB who can focus for 90 mins will be an improvement and win us more games more comfortably. Tark, Kelly, anyone please.

Above a CF I think
With the left back, it depends on how long Cresswell is going to be out for.

We definitely need a centre back though, and one that can pass a ball. Caleta-Car? Worrall? Phillips? Not sure what their distribution is like but I'm fed up at the moment of watching our centre backs play wasteful balls forward and giving it straight back to the opposition.

Burnley want £7m for Tarkowski apparently just pay it Moyes it that is correct hes better than Diop we'd get more than £7m for Diop i reckon we would easily get £18-£20m for Diop £25m for Newcastle with the Saudi tax thats another point the Saudis are gonna get taken to the cleaners this window

Still as we were and even clearer after last two games we need a CB to come in for Dawson until Zouma is back.

Lingard or similar along with a striker would be ideal.

LB on loan and that would be a perfect window to take us into the second half of the season

Diops performance today is typical of him. 2nd goal standing watching the ball in empty space as the scorer is completely free.
No chance anyone pays 18 million let alone 25 million.

No chance Newcastle will sign Diop. Let alone for more than £8m.
Bloke can't defend. His best days are just OK. Other teams scouts will watch him play.

Diop was guilty of not making a better attempt to cut out the cross. However, He is not to blame for Edourad being unmarked. He is in the right ptoistion and Dawson should be closer to Edourd, with Soucek being a little more aware

If no new centre back in time for the FA cup game then its definately worth throwing in both Alese and Baptiste alongside Coufal and Johnson.

We just cant risk an injury to either Dawson or Diop.

That's what happens when you're on Twitter 24/7, I guess.

I've never seen him linked to us.

He never featured on any of hammerman11's lists, so all other lists are irrelevant.

Moyes after today’s game: "A defender is in our priorities but if we get Kurt back that might alter it."

David Moyes has somehow managed to get us to January within touching distance of the top four and still with Antonio. This isn't a fluke, this is a good side but it needs adding to desperately. If another top 6 side had been playing without 3 of their back four and still be where we are the media wouldn't shut up about it, yet with us it's always a cast off comment.

Diop, Masuaku, Yarmalenko out

CB, LB, ST and Lingard in. Spend what needs to be spent, we can't afford to waste another transfer window.

Tbh my issue with Diop wouldn't be with any of the goals today specifically.

It's just that he doesn't deal with things he should, when he does deal with things he gives away silly fouls. His passing and clearances are poor.

We are at the point where his very presence causes chaos, unrest and puts the team under pressure and on the back foot.

Nothing against the bloke, think he gives his all. But he is unreliable and a bad defender.
