I wonder how Antonio got Covid? If he wore a mask, socially distanced and kept away from crowds then the chances of getting it are slim. I doubt if he uses public transport. The fact that you could infect other players and jeopardise the season is a good reason to be ultra careful. Is it irresponsible? Has he not observed due caution? Did he get vaccinated? He’s caught a very highly transmissible variant. It’s happening all over the country at the moment, there’s nothing really to see here.

Or maybe he simply caught it from a good friend or a family member. You can't expect people to live in isolation chambers.

Masks only really protect the people around you from you, not vice versa.

Moyes has confirmed he is double vaccinated and has no symptoms.

It's likely he caught it from a staff member at the ground, maybe his kids brought it home from school, supermarkets, restaurants. Etc.

Apparently got covid a week ago so touch and go for Southampton by the sounds of it.

Tbh even if we have him available for Watford and Palace it's a bonus.
I know he is not on form but we need the numbers over Xmas.

Pretty sure Moyes said that Antonio was asymptomatic.

Current (and insane) government advice is that if you're a close contact but have been vaccinated you needn't isolate.

Last year he scored 14 and assisted 10 in the premier league, that’s a really impressive year.

Since having his covid induced break he’s scored 2 and assisted 1 in 2.5 games, hopefully it’s a sign he’s getting back to his best!
