Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note
I've been having ongoing issues with this for last month or so, but last few days it's been nigh-on impossible to login. Amazed I've just managed to login to post this!
I'm using a 2017 Macbook Air, on Chrome and Safari browsers.
I've tried clearing caches, browsing history, cookies etc. I've tried shutting down and closing/relaunching my browser. It's just very random if/when I can login at present.

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note
I use Edge and Chrome on different PCs but I don't have any problems on ANY other forum I sign on to: football, motorcycling, knitting, whatever... so I don't believe it can be at the user end, be it cache or anything else.
It's just so tedious and takes away much of the pleasure of signing on to discuss and debate. Unfortunately, in the end it will drive traffic away which is the opposite of the intention I'm sure.

Absolutely love this site, but this problem of logging in has been so consistently random over the last few weeks that I’ve more or less given up trying.
iPhone 13, Safari. And on my Macs too.

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note
Had the problem quite a bit last few weeks. I use the https address (link is in my favourites) but seem to have had the issue on iPhone 12 and iPad 2020 at different times - no real obvious pattern that i can tell. Match days have been particularly hard to log on and if I log on during the day and leave my phone long enough that I’m logged out of kumb it seems tougher to get in again within a few hours.
I’m a lazy browser who often has multiple internet tabs open for days as I’m researching things for work, to buy or things to do - clearing my internet data and cache sorts Kumb our but also loses all those open tabs (I’m not aware of another way to do it) which is a pain. As a result I tend to post less (albeit tend to read just as much).
Edit: safari by the way
Thanks for investigating UTJ

I mainly use an IPad with very occasional IPhone if out. Consistent problem over the last few days, usually get the error message, 1 in 10 or less maybe I get in (like now). Happens pretty much any time of day. I do not use the features that keep me logged in when not online.

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note
Im having similar issues My first time being able to log in in weeks
Strangely I managed to log in first attempt today and it's also the first time that the box that appears asking you to accept or decline those things didn't pop up could this be connected to the issue

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note
Finally I've logged in!
I've been trying repeatedly on iMac and iPad for days without success, even having followed the https idea and deleting cache. I reckon I've tried over 20 times in the last couple of weeks and got in just once. Now twice.
Oh well, I'm in now, and scared to leave for five minutes in case I can never sign in again!

Samsung galaxy using Internet explorer thingy it comes with.
Constant logging in issues, doesn't seem to be any pattern to it.

Struggled all week to log in. Haven't experienced any random log out issues though.

Yep, really struggled at times to log on this past week. It is 12.30pm here in NZ so 11.30pm UK time.
Please again note my commitment to sign up for a premium membership in the event you can provide an ad free service in the future. I find the ads really do spoil the experience of being on KUMB.

Laptop fine, Samsung G8 mostly ok except you can't get it to 'remember me' so log-in required every time.

Re: Solved: 'Invalid' notice/privacy note
This. The 50+ attempts it's been taken this week to log in along with the incessant ads (I know ads are needed but they're relentless here), it's really spoiled the site.
