Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Got to be close to a call-up to the Argentina squad hasn’t he?

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Another lovely performance from Lanzini yesterday, the bloke is a joy to watch.
As with any player, if they have a run of games they will improve, he is playing very well again and long may it continue

In fine form at the moment and looks like he’s enjoying himself again.
Great to have him back

Its terrific. To be fair, it really is like a new quality signing.

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
I agree Diog, if we had paid £20m for a championship player and he developed over 18 months into somebody who could contribute as well as that we would all be saying well done mr Moyes. It makes me wonder what that injury took away from us, what did we never get to see?

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Wonderful seeing him blossom again. And vindicated the decision of management not to sell him during the fire sale since 2019.

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Very few players are at it for the whole season and it's making a massive difference him peaking at the moment taking the pressure off Fornals, Antonio, Benny (before he left) - all who started the season flying.
Looks like Vlasic might be starting to get there too.
So important having a squad.
Has been great floating around as a 10 but also dropping deep to receive the ball.

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Generally decent performance tonight but the SHOOTING! Oh dear so unlike him to blast so many shots over the bar. Realistically he could have had a couple of goals tonight which would have made the game easier. Still, you can't be top gun every week!

Recalled to Argentina squad. We retain the ball so much better with him acting as the pivot. So pleased for him after his lengthy injury

Fully deserved. He's back to his former self and thriving in the middle of the park.

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Great news for him.
Moyes has always liked him, I think, but it did look like his days with us might be over. Now, suddenly, he looks undroppable. What a turnaround!

Re: Manuel Lanzini (New Contract Signed)
Pleased for Lanzini. I genuinely thought he was a busted flush only a year or so ago.
Much credit must go to Moyes. He has got Lanzini working harder than any previous manager. He must have made more challenges this year than all his previous seasons put together!!
