Very good. My ‘sole’ reference was dumb and I wish I could blame predictive typing, but I’ll blame age. I’m far too slow to come back with a quick and witty response, so I’ll leave it to others ‘clown’ around and ‘dab’ each other in the ‘Puffer’ areas.

Couple of observations about B-t-s video this week:

The coaching team, including Moyes, on the pitch and involved in the warm ups. Pearce jivving up players as the go down the tunnel before kick off.

Areola throws out well, especially to Antonio, who seems to judge the throws perfectly as he spins. Appreciate other examples may have been edited out.

Notice Vlasic running back to defend prior to counter attack and our second goal. Very late in the game I think. Exactly what Moyes would have been looking for.

Loved the piece at the end when our two Czech boys sought out their flag and gave their shirts away.

Firstly, better highlights than motd although getting newspaper photographers to sit further back would help.

Spirit: just look at the team surround Antonio after the goal. Dec and Tomas at the end, a personal share moment nothing to do with cameras. The better press in almost every example captured.

Future: the youngsters warming up with the first team in front of tv and 60k. Can you imagine it gets any better? other than actually getting on in the match of course.

Moyes: not fully happy until we are consecutive world champions.

Bring on the challenges, we are ready.

Thanks as always s-h. Anybody else noted the goalkeepers union support of Fabianski pre game? Shows what a tight sub unit that group are. Makes me think Areola will be staying. Also liked the way Moyes was ‘chatting’ to Dec, perhaps final instructions. Again, cannot see that relationship splitting up easily.

Finally, lots of love from all the players for Benni after the second goal.
