Re: Away Tickets - Leicester on sale 44+ pts now
In cup scheme had 1 point added on the 10th.
Has anyone actually seen an official (not twatter) statement from WH that anyone would get 2 points for this fixture, I haven’t ??

Yeah, I had a point added yesterday, but wanted to see if anyone had actually had this mythical second point or whether it was just twitter nonsense.
Obviously if someone has had a second point, then I'll have to follow up with the ticket office.

2019 season I’m 100% sure it was two points for FA Cup games.
Re: Away Tickets - Leicester on sale 44+ pts now
When they set the cup scheme up it was two points for every cup game, ludicrous I know, but obviously that was the carrot to get everyone’s money upfront and make sure they sold seats.West Ham Dave wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 9:43 am In cup scheme had 1 point added on the 10th.

Re: Away Tickets - Leicester on sale 44+ pts now
I wonder when we will get the Kidderminster info, look forward to being disappointed for that one
Liverpool
Tottenham
Brentford
Chelsea
Norwich
Brighton
Not inc any FA Cup/Europa games - not a bad run of travel for Premier League aways with only Liverpool being the long trip left, so would guess demand will be high for the rest, especially a Brighton away last game of the season number, so only another £180 & 6 points up for grabs.
Brentford will be an interesting one, allocations of around 1700 so going to be tough for anyone under 60 IMO at that time

Re: Away Tickets - Leicester on sale 44+ pts now
I've just checked, I'm in the home cup scheme and received two points for Man City but one for Leeds.

Re: Away Tickets - Leicester on sale 44+ pts now
I believe 'double points for those on the home cup scheme' was introduced for the 2019-20 season. Making West Brom at home in the FA Cup the first game where it was applied.
It is still listed as one of the benefits for buying a season ticket https://www.seasontickets.whufc.com/ and two points were applied for Man City at home in the league cup.
The benefit reads: "PLUS – you will also receive double loyalty points for each Home cup attendance and receive priority for any later cup round stages, subject to availability."
What the club might be trying to do, which they elude to here, is to cross reference attendance with tickets purchased. This has been muted in the past for some away games, but to my knowledge it has never actually been applied. The cross referencing for COVID forms completed with tickets issued didn't happen and I'm guessing they either don't have the technology to do this or won't pay TicketMaster (who operate our ticketing) to do it for us.
Supporter Services on Twitter responded to a number of questions on the topic.
According to Lee at Supporter Services you should have received one point to date.
The second point will be added (for those on the home cup scheme), wait for it....

Re: Away Tickets - Leicester still on sale down to 20pts @ 5pm 14/1
Nice number that when you take into account the 7 points for the home games this season, plus the home cup games in the previous seasons, should've only needed 3/4/5 points to get one
