Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Lingard’s agent has got to drum up some contrived competition, who better than spuds?
He’s going nowhere until the summer, and by then we will regrettably moved on twice.

I don't know if he'd know anything but Danny Gabbidon has said on Twitter that we're interested in Broja.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Good news lads I am back in
so I thought I might be comenting on new signings but alas no !
zouma coming back is good news but I hope it doesnt stop us signing someone as what happens if zouma breaks down ? surely we cant risk CL football ?
we need a LB CB CF
Lloyd kelly will cost us 30m and may not want to join until the summer IF bournemouth dont go up
lingard - who knows what is happening but if he even considers spurs then he is not for us. I guess we will know after the Man utd match on the 22nd
LB hickey
CB philips 10m or caleta carr loan
CF holzek loan bayo 15m
get these 3 positions covered and we have a chance of top 4

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
That would check out, Moyes has tightened transfer discussions to himself, Rob Newman and Danny Gabbidon.

He was, I agree. But to me that is as big a mystery as all Jones' caps.Ironing Board wrote: ↑Tue Jan 11, 2022 11:07 pm Meh - Evans was always behind Jones in the team, so I would say he was second best at the worst.
Anyway, we better leave this as it ain't really on topic - fortunately

Scotland should try producing footballers that aren't left backs. That is my plan for them to soar up the world rankings.Chrissieboy wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 3:36 am Been following Hickey and he looks great and so many people are talking about him in Scotland. Will struggle to get into the Scotland side unless he switches flanks but would be great for us I reckon.
Still just very much hoping for a mobile striker to back up Antonio at present.

Read this too. Not sure Chelsea would want to sell but i think he’s good. Caused us problems on both occasions we played Southampton this season.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 8:51 am I don't know if he'd know anything but Danny Gabbidon has said on Twitter that we're interested in Broja.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
what are you all complaining about?
We've brought in a goalkeeper, defender, midfielder and striker .
by returning them from loan...

Broja would be good but chelsea would want 30m at least. he has looked good though.
if we are buying a top CF then I cant see us getting lingard in as well.
time will tell.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Calciomercato saying we're among several clubs keeping tabs on 29 years old left winger Kostic of Eintracht Frankfurt for the Summer window when he will have a year left on his deal.
Sounds like rubbish. Unless we are replicating Scotland but with left sided midfielders.

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Very interesting this
I have followed his career quite closely since he left for Augsburg and after a slow start he has really blossomed in Germany playing as a CB in a back 3
There have been rumours that other bigger German clubs are interested

Re: January 2022 Transfer Window
Danny is just copying my opinions from this transfer thread, which he clearly reads regularly. Broja would be perfect for us.Bubbles Fortuna wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 8:51 am I don't know if he'd know anything but Danny Gabbidon has said on Twitter that we're interested in Broja.
(FWIW, I think Danny meant that Moyes would be interested in Broja, by virtue of him being a good player who fits what we're looking for. I doubt he has any further inside info).
